Got PG4, GT4, Pro Evo 08 (when it arrives!), Gears of War, and Skate.
Gotta say I’m happy I’ve picked up this console. I’ve always felt when you buy a console, the first time you put a game in your jaw should drop and you should be compelled to say, ‘wow’. I’m getting all of that so far, lovin’ every frag-fest moment so far.
A special note has to be mentioned on just how easy it is to get the Xbox online. It’s sooooo straight forward. Thank gawd. Never did manage to get my PS2 online. Hell, even the Dreamcast was easier!!
Gears of War arrived through the post box this morning. Only had a short time to play on it but it looks a good crack so far.

I was simply having fun tearing around the city trying to run over as many people as I could with the odd gunned down copper thrown in for good measure. Ahh if only in real life…*goes off to carjack someone*
Is this Portal that comes with HL2 then? Found it to be qute enjoyable really. A welcome change from fraggin’.
Cheers for that. Have to go the WnR route till I upgrade my amp. Mind, the Technic’s AV amp is over 9yrs old now so maybe it’s not that much of a surprise that it’s got no digital output?
Has to be said that I’m proper enjoying GTA4. It’s the dogs dangly bits.
I like how on this one that when you crash into certain things, say if you run straight into something, the dude gets propelled through the windshield. Class.Has anyone managed to get away when on 5stars? It’s goes mental when you’re this wanted. I wanna nick one of those armoured cop vans.
One huge pain in the ass though, I made the mistake of moving my xbox whilst still playing the game. The result? A horrible grinding sound all of a sudden which sounded like the insides were being ripped out…and on opening up my CD drive? A perfect circle scratch going round the whole CD, 2mm in from the edge. It now crashes from time to time but I’ll just have to cope.
Didn’t Arnie have one of those strapped to his head in Total Recall?
(off point – Don’t know what’s changed on the site but FINALLY I can login and it keeps me logged in. Haven’t been able to post for time as a result of that)

Poor dude didn’t even notice till I pointed it out the following day when he rolled into workBit late but thought I’d had my 50cent.
Really enjoyed this, a good crack. I mean honestly, what more can you want from a film than a women with a gun for a leg? Good to see Sayed finally got off the island although I think it’s caused him to go a bit funny as he’s got a strange collection he keeps now. There’s Bruce ‘Die Hard’ Wilis, having finally taken out Hans Gruger, he must have been promoted as he’s now in charge of a group of commondos.
Finally, am I the only one who now wants to see a full lengh version of ‘Machete’? I was creasin’ up watching that.
Can someone exaplain to me though is this film in two parts or what? I thought there was another part called Grindhouse or something?
Got GTA4 yesterday. Xbox arrives today. Canna wait!
Can someone help me thought with San Andreas – I’ve a logitec Rumblepad. I could never get the controls setup the same as the PC. If someone has a config file or can tell me what buttons to configure to what that would be sweet/

Haven’t seen this yet but it’s on my To View list. I had a feeling this was going to go the same as No Country For Old Men which although I did enjoy, it just lacked that certain something to captivate my interest.
