Yeah will always be a tuesday. Well monday in the us and tuesday for the eu, the psn network and psn store get updated every tuesday. Thats the only time they ever add to the psn store, (all patches expansions and everything are downloaded through that)
It was a deal that sony struck up with ea. Same as xbox have one with activision for cod content earlier than everyone else. They just pay the devs money to get the new content earlier. Unless it was a one off deal just for karky then all other new bf3 content will be out a week or more earlier on the ps3 to.

I like everything bar the 64 player map everyone seems to whine about. I would rather 2x 32 player maps on that one.

You would see a gain with this. Also means if you get a new processor cheap it will be quiet a large gainLook at my post above chaos. I have 775 mobo. You would see a massive improvement if you got a ddr3 capable mobo and 4 gig of ddr3 ram. Single ddr3 4 gig chips are like 24 quid these days.
I upgraded because my ram would not let me use w7, (i kept getting the fx driver error, dont ask me why derp ram give me a fx driver error ask microshit, its been a huge problem for alot of people since vista) So i needed new ram for bf3. It worked out cheaper for me to buy a new mobo and 4 gig of ddr3 than it did to buy new ddr2 ram.
