I’m going to treat myself to this once I’ve got my thesis out the way. So hopefully sometime next week I’ll be joining in. Unless my wife has a list of jobs for me to do….
I know you were just joking mate. I thought I did pretty well to bring in a mention of games to the thesis. It certainly made explaining to the wife why I was playing “that damn shooting game again when you should be studying” a bit easier. But I don’t think she ever really believed me.
Still, it’s got me out of the ironing for the last few years. I need to find another excuse once I’ve submitted the thesis ๐
Thanks very much for your offer Tess, but the pictures aren’t vital enough to warrant the hassle of postage etc. They’re more a nice-to-have that if anyone could knock off a couple of pictures for me without much trouble would be useful.

Now back to my keyboard to carry on typing away. Just one more chapter to finish then a few tidy-ups….phew!
It’s not really a degree about games. I’m simply mentioning games as supporting material to the main thrust of my thesis which is more about tools to support the production of interactive experiences.
Interesting stuff though.

A wealthy mate of mine has recently had a pool built as part of a mega house conversion. The pool is big – nearly meters long, and really deep – over two meters. So it takes a lot of water.
He filled it a few months ago. It leaked. Emptied it. Fixed the leak. Refilled it. Was fine for a couple of months, leaked again. Just refilled it.
The other day he got is water bill for the last 6 months. รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ2500 ๐ฏ
I told him that would pay for a *lot* of visits to the local public pool, and he wasn’t too amused ๐

But if you buy them then you must run. It’s obvious you have far less chance of breaking the eggs if you run as fast as you can through crowds of people.

I was particularly proud last week when my 4 year old boy got into a belching competition with his 6 year old mate next door while we were all out for a bike ride. Most pleasant …..cycling along by the river in the quiet countryside, with Reece sitting behind me belching away trying to outdo Ben peddling along beside us.
That’s my boy! ๐
Just caught up to episode 18 myself via allucanc.net. What a great series. Really strong writing and performances. Great plot twists, and I love the way the characters aren’t completely dumb. For example, the way the Prof (junior) figured out Sylar was really nicely done.
Can’t wait for Ep 19.
Still catching it week by week on the SciFi channel – bigger screen and better sound on my telly.

A very good friend of mine has one of those Max – really good for the summer and great for the kids. Also nice to laze around in after work with a beer.
However, it kills your lawn very very dead. Unless you do what my mate did and astroturf that first.
