I *think* that only the Professional editions of Photoshop to HDR, but I’m by no means positive on this.

Just tried the freebie on a couple of images I had that just happened to be different exposures. They were taken hand-held so did not exactly match up. But despite this, the software did quite a good job. Haven’t got time to post the results (and the scene was a bit boring anyway 🙂 ), but I would say it is worth giving the HDRSoft freebie a go.I have no problem contributing, no matter how many servers we have. The only request I would have is that I can do so via Paypal – I’m not keen on setting up direct debits or standing orders.
I’ve got a 350D too – really nice piece of kit.
Think I’ll give this HDR thing a try – looks fun.
Don’t mention tripods to my wife – she doesn’t understand why I have more than one. The phrase “oh no, not another bloody tripod” is quite frequently heard around the house….

I’ve got pretty much the exact same photo of Symonds Yat myself. Your colours are way more vibrant than on my orignal – natural light, filters, or photoshop?

But what is really pissing me off big time is that the Hamster’s accident has brought out the massed ranks of the “Tut!” brigade calling on banning Top Gear, banning anything on TV that looks remotely exciting, etc etc. OOOhhhhh it’s all too dangerous… people should be protected from themselves…. think of the environment… nanny knows best…blah blah bollocks
This brand of person just pisses me off big time – they will be the first against the wall come the revolution. And hiding behnd their Daily Mail’s won’t protect them.

When I ask to register it says that username Lensman already exists, but password not valid. So maybe I registered ages ago? Anyway, there is no way to get my password back so now I’m stuffed.
