and the [RO] community is alot more mature than the BF community.
must be said the relatively short period of time i played RO i did not find that the case at all. Kids play video games – doesn’t matter which ones. I witnessed tk’s (not including the accidental ones) alot of comment that began ‘you noob’ etc and the oh so entertaining massacre when everyone spawns at the beginning (CS style).
As for bf2142 have still not made plans to buy it until i’ve played the demo more and possible not until i hear some comments from those that play the full game.
Wolf is right when talking of the games been continually released before they are finished. It really isn’t good enough. But bf2 is still far ahead of any of its rivals in term of team play.
PLayed it a bit (very short bit as it kicked me (and many others)
Firstly serious problems connection to ea master server – 5/10 min to get into first menu does not impress – which i would assume the demo is meant to)
Don’t think its a finished product and that more than anything will put me off buying the game.
erm thats it – did i mention it kicked me!!
Just hope it grows on me as there’s naff all else to play atm
i haven’t played the demo yet but will still be downloading it to see what its like. Must admit though this is the first of the battlefield games that i won’t be pre-ordering. Will wait for evyone else to give their comments of the full version.
One thing worth thinking though is as far as it been just a mod for bf2, thats all bfv was to ’42 and it’s still my favourite out of the 3 (though i’ve played it since and you miss the squad structure tbh – BUT its the only time they managed to get the inf. weapons right)
Anything but a 64 player tbh as they lag like hell for me ๐
voted for 2 as i know some of the ro oldies still contribute towards the bf server so seems only fair for us all to pull together for 2. Would think there were enough of us put worth a poll in itself to see if the contributions are there, including one for the website server for mag.

At the moment there’s not quite enough to run one server and the contributions towards this web site (i.e. Magicker) is still running somewhat short.
This change will probably be an ideal opportunity to look at what exactly XDC costs and to ensure that no one has to incur the costs. (currently รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ3.50 per month is contributed towards this site – this includes the rental cost plus all updates and free maintenece from Magicker)
He’s too polite to ask for contributions but i’m not ๐ This isn’t the first time i’ve asked so please cough up.
OldPhart in view of the lack of response from previous posts by myself regarding the latter, I would make certain that the money is there before you decide on anything
