i carnt get more than a 35 % servival chance on there predicter thingy 🙁 nice little website though.
watched this again the other night and have to say the book is so much better, was suprised to see how much the film differd from it infact. whole sections had been swaped round and whole plot lines were given to differnt caractures.
BR2 started good then went really shit, wasnt it due to the director dieing and his son taking over half way through production?

Any way… getting back to holiday vaccines, im debating wether the RABIPUR is worth while. the way i understand it is that it is not a vaccine but an aid to give you longer to find treatment, as we are not planning on trecking off to far into the jungle is it really necessery?
might seem petty trying to save 300 quid on it but thats a lot of cash at this moment in time and if it wasnt nessecery then its money i dont really want to spend.how critical is it to have this perticuler vacine?

yeah i had a look at the specialist travel clinics but thay seem to be even more expensive. was debating picking up the perscription and just self administering it 😯
Too many people on the make in this country, the guy in the chelist was saying theres a min of a 30% mark up on travel vaccines. two chemists 5 mins apart in lanc had a differnce in price of over 50 quid for the Jap E 🙄

think im gonna add state of the art to my list of fav books by him as well.
love his books, Excession, look to windward, use of weapons, consider phlebas were sum of my favs to be honest but i enjoyed all of them.
still got a couple to read, started against a dark background but lost it somewhere and need to read Feersum Endjinn.
kinda forgotten which ones i havent read, kinda went through a bunch of them in one go.
Got to add that i love the ship names he uses.

Think im just gonna front the costs for the rabipur and japanese encphalitis (sp). was more pissed of by the fact that doctors surgerys charge differnt rate for the admin fees ranging from 20 to 40 pounds per course. 2 jabs costing 70 quid at my local plus the 200 for the 2 vaccines. if i walked an extra 10 mins to the next surgery i would get the jabs and vacines for 100 pounds less… but im not allowed to do that due to docs not taking on patiants signed on at another practice.
fucking anoying that you carnt take advantage of the differing prices. once you registerd with a doc your stuck with them even if there robbing you blind 🙄
