ParticipantNasty business Legit, it’s just fortunate that you managed to walk away from this one. I agree with Lenny on insurance, fully comp is the only way to go with the number of uninsured spastics driving around.
Get well soon m8.

Yeah but we know he means light is being refracted from one side around the body and out the other side, not reflected 😛
None of that is said in the original article (have you read it?).
What I understand him to mean is that a camera attached to a person can capture an image of what is behind the subject, then a projector (set up beforehand) projects that image onto the front of the person, and these bead things reflect the light in the direction of the projector. This has nothing to do with refraction around a body. The invisibility effect will also be nullified if the viewer is not in a line with the subject and the projector 😕
As a physicist it is my opinion that this bloke is talking rubbish by likening this to an invisibility cloak. I can achieve the same effect with a camcorder, a projector and a bedsheet. Science rating 1/10.

I’m someone who overtakes all the time, though not typically in 30mph zones.
I have no problem with overtaking per-se, but being overtaken when I’m driving at the speed limit, especially after the fucker has been trying to drive right up my arsehole is as good as them having a big sign above their car flashing the words ‘I’m a twatty twat and I deserve a slap’.

I see some scary driving standards in an average week and it really makes me wonder how some people get their licenses, a rear shunt can happen all too easily sadly, lapse of concentration for a second, perhaps a persons eyesight isn’t that great and they misjudge your distance etc………the good thing is your not more seriously injured.
Perhaps I was being a bit too intolerant, but I agree with you about the driving standards of some people. One of the things that really pisses me off is when I’m driving at 30mph in a 30mph zone and some dick overtakes me. This invariably leads to me pulling up right behind them at the next junction or set of lights. What’s the point?
It is these for these people that rude hand gestures were made. 👿

ParticipantNo win, No fee!!!!!
It always amazes me that stupid cunts manage to crash into the back of other cars that have stopped at a junction. 🙄
