ParticipantHad a blast last night with Insane and Spunker on Metro rush. First time I’ve enjoyed that map, maybe had something to do with Paddy being AFK, therefore unable to repeatedly stab me in the arse.

ParticipantSpent all morning at work doing mine, while hiding it from my co-workers. I should have waited.

ParticipantHaving said all that, RPG’s seem to be Borat’s weapon of choice!

ParticipantI appologised when i shot you point blank ben, twas swapping weps and u popped up and i panicked. Generally i use em as a room cleaner, after all its just a well aimed grenade at the end of the day. Good for clearing rooms or making a tactical advantage for infantry hiding in windows or behind cover.
Other than that i use it for armour. Its not as bad as the law issue in vietnam.
A server message to not take this piss would be good though
Nah, I wasn’t referring to you mate. There was a guy on last night who thought the RPG made a good sniper rifle in the park section of “Metro”.
this sort of thing is stuational, if someone is consistently using the rpg then maybe something should be said
Exactly, it’s situational, and as admins we need to use common sense to see when another player is taking the piss and effectively ruining the game for others. On the Caspian Border map there is a Flag at the check point where a squad can entrench themselves in the buildings, in that situation, an RPG in the window is a valid tactic.

ParticipantI get your point. Once or twice is a lucky mistake. But when you get a player persistently using the RPG on a rush map for example, then thats bad fuckin’ form.
If the opposing player is “holed” up in a building on a flag and your fighting towards it, then an RPG into the building is a valid tactic, but in an open environment like the first part of Metro is just shit.
Quite a few of the BFBC servers had a warning about using RPG’s on infantry if I remember.

ParticipantI thought you were trying to input a digital signal.
Your description is a bit confusing, you play through the “aux” output – you mean input?
The output from the PC is going into the PC?
Are you trying to send a signal FROM the amp TO the PC?
My advice? Get a mini-jack to Phono lead and use the amp’s internal processing to output the 5.1 surround.
xdcmaniac
ParticipantWhat amp are you using?
You normally have to assign a digital input on the amp through the amp’s menu. (On a Denon for example, it’s in the “input assign” menu, and Onkyo is “Digital input assign”)
I can’t for the life of me think of the connection your describing. Is it a mini-DVI?

ParticipantI think I might be up for a pen knife. Seriously, I want one of those gay blindy-lazer-flashy things that Paddy loves so much.

ParticipantYes! But! you may get a shag if you venture out. There are some things BF3 just can’t provide.
