It is, but if you think you will get enough people to have a game then think again. Look what happened to the Rats – gave up on the unranked server because it was always empty. By all means turn it off everynow and again for a laugh but turning it off for a week will make alot of people leave and not come back.
I for one enjoy the gradual progression through the ranks but I’m not a medal whore and it doesnt change the way I play. I think a lot of people feel the same.
Btw I agree with alot Wolf has said but a ban is definitely not the answer. 1stBW had kind of turned into the friend that says he’s only going to stay for a night or two but ends up staying a month – lying on the couch watching telly drinking your beer when you get home from work. Always on the server, always in TS 😀 I assumed they’d left TS recently because Matt had told them XDC membership wasn’t on the cards.
I have to agree with Wipers, Im no medal whore by any stretch of the imagination but I also like to progress through the ranks and would prefer the server stay ranked. 🙂

I’ve found that with the new patch.. if i click to join our dear server and its full.. i depress “Resfresh” and the fucker dissapears! Only way to get it back is to disconnect and reconnect again.. damn annyong.. esspecially if you CTD when map loading also!
Not one to slag the superb game that is BF2.. but the recent patch sucks cat ass!
And i thought it was just me, same happens weird! 😀

I think this is stepping in to very dangerous ground here, I personally am against banning these guys from our server, its a server for people to play on no matter whowhere there are. This would seriously effect a very good relationship we currently have with these guys.
I have never had an issue with these guys, although at times Divie can revive me in some stupid situations, and I know the GP30 is used at times but its a gun and part of the game, although highly annoying, but banning these guys is totally wrong.
I have noticed that these guys no longer use our TS which is a little bit of a shame. 🙁
