I personally don’t see a problem with it. So long as it’s not used to get somewhere you can’t be shot, game on I say. If you can see more of the battlefied, more of the battlefield can see (and snipe) you. Don’t mistake how vulnerable you are in half of these locations. On the top of a building, you are prime target for mortar and enemy choppers.
Also, you can still get to a lot of these places by wasting one of your team’s vehicles and jumping out a jet etc, particularly the one in this vid. You can even reach it by climbing the crane nearby and placing a beacon on it, then spawning on it and parachuting to the towers. Just a more efficient way this way.
Also, I agree with maniac. Until you have done it yourself, you won’t know how vulnerable you actually are in a lot of these positions. At lease play the class and check it out, dice aren’t going to remove it as far as I know.

That’s wierd, I’ve never installed it and it was just there, what version of win 7 do you use? I got “ultimate N” and would have suspected that that was less likely to come with it than other versions.

Think it’s back up to £35 on steam last I checked, was on sale over xmas period and available for £23 or so on steam.
The game is good, I have enjoyed it although not played it in a few weeks. My character has gotten to the stage where the content is quite easy and I’ve just now played it since it’s not as much of a challenge, although I do want to finish it.

What I said wasn’t in direct response to your post really. It’s a sticky wicket reporting people who you didn’t even see playing based on logs but in my opinion, reporting was the right thing to do.
As you say, it is very hard to kick someone for cheating if they are being somewhat restrained with the aimbot or whatever, wall hacks are even harder to identify. It’s something that’s difficult to kick for and something I’ve not kicked someone for yet.
I for one would have no complaints if someone kicked someone who was suspected of cheating, their judgement is all I need so don’t think I was trying to have a go, I’m not keen on the judging of the admin decisions either.

were the people in questoin, they got 10 head shots in a row with pitols whilst the whole sever went wild calling cheats in chat, then all quiet. I wasn’t there to physically see it, but it is very clear when you look at the logs, 6 kills in 1 second with .44 mag
You should try game dev story by the same guys, its actually a better game. Nothing to do with the content, but the progressions just seems better.
You’ll be gutted max, as am I, the foregrip is getting nerfed, cos everyone knows how overpowered it is.
On a more serious note, it’s getting nerfed as it’s the only attatchment that has no drawback to using. They are buffing all other attachments and nerfing foregrip as it is the standard for any gun with it.
