I enjoyed medic the other night but it doesn’t really suit my aggressive play style. I think I’m too focussed on unlocking the beetleguise to put any serious time into medic but I totally agree with your sentiment, a medic makes a big difference. Maybe when I unlock the beetleguise I’d put more time into it but that’s a while off yet.
Just keep making footage like that. I think the stand out reaction was your intelligent play and thought process. You mostly squad lead when we play so you could do a squad lead video with though process etc. The infil is a lone wolf and may not be the best recruitment thing on reflection. But if people see you lead a squad with skill and consideration, they may be more inclined to be led by you.
Seems like a pretty decent reaction despite the obligatory trolls on reddit. Upvoted and commented etc

We all play on PC mate appart from Max who is considering playing solo on the PS4 when it’s launched because…. I got nothing.
We mostly play Vanu Sov (purple guys) on server Cobalt so if you sign up, that’s where to create your character.
For your first so many sessions be prepared to be bewildered and have no idea what you are doing or why we are doing it. The most important things to remember when playing in the group is stay close to the rest of us and if we say we are “redeploying”, press the “U” key to start a 10 second timer. After 10 secs, we will pick a new fight, this tends to happen when we win or the fight turns shit.
Also, if we’re playing PS2, we are generally on TS as comms make us 10 times more effective as a cohesive unit.

You’ve no idea Max, took a while for me to get into it but it’s far more involving than BF3 ever was. There is no “top of the scoreboard on the server”, you measure yourself by how big a fight you and your squad can handle. It feels far better to face and beat 3-5 times your number through close teamwork and good comms than it does to top a server scoreboard in a BF game.
And for you specifically, there are so many flags, once you cap all the flags, you can go to the next base for more flags, no need to wait for a new game 🙂
Still hoping we can get more XDC interested in this game as I reckon we’d be unstoppable with a full squad. Just last night, Matt, myself and a random managed to turn up to a fight that didn’t involve our faction (Vanu), Stop the Terran from attacking the NC base by taking out 2 of heavily armoured spawn points and waves of enemies and then when finished, take the base for ourselves, all the while against 2 teams of superior numbers.
A full XDC squad could sway any fight with enough co-ordination.
