You worded that all wrong Von Smallhousen. Here’s what you should have said:
I’ve been demoted from a Captain, to a lowly private. Why? Because I’d put my men’s lives first, rather than obeying orders sent down the line from some by some snot-nosed kid straight out of the military accademy. The command didn’t like me, said I was a loose cannon and a maverick, stripped me of my medals and busted me down to infantry. Well I may not have the rank, or the medals anymore, but I got something that you can’t wear; the respect of my men.
Also, I’d been selling information to the enemy.
Obviously you could leave the last line out if you wanted.

If they’d only move that TOW from the Square in Karki, and put it somewhere more useful, like pointing down the main street to the hotel, then it’d rock. Of course it’d imbalance the game immensely 😉
My problem is with the machinegun emplacements. They’re flip all use and placed at the most stupid locations. Does anyone actually use them?

One of my friends elder brothers was really good at Dragons Lair (and by that I mean didn’t die every 10 seconds). We used to go to the fair when it was in our village and just watch him play, just to see which new bit of the cartoon would show up. He never completed it though, and I don’t know of anyone else who did either. Quite a bizarre and confusing game, from what I recall.
Incidentally, the guy who designed the characters in Space Ace and Dragon’s Lair, was the guy who designed ‘The Incredibles’.
The student, who has not been named, from the University of Gloucestershire, was treated at the scene by paramedics for cuts and scratches.
