Why is it that tow sites always seem to be in the wrong place when you really need them, or the way you really want to point it is blocked by wall that’s just low enough to see over but a PIA to try and fire over?!
Yet the AA sites all seem to have a nice avenue of approach and are open on two sides for that plane to come in on a perfect strafing run, usually followed by a full bomb load just to make sure those 1000 rounds really did kill you.
I say this as it now appears that the best way for a plane to assualt an AA site is head on, yep that seems logical 🙄
Once again conclusive proof that Dice are a bunch of ghey flyboys. 👿
If they’d only move that TOW from the Square in Karki, and put it somewhere more useful, like pointing down the main street to the hotel, then it’d rock. Of course it’d imbalance the game immensely 😉
My problem is with the machinegun emplacements. They’re flip all use and placed at the most stupid locations. Does anyone actually use them?
Try not to as they make you a nice static target for snipers, especialy on urban maps.
But you’re right, normally after your take a flag theyre pointing in totally the wrong direction, they should make em so that they only turn 180 still, but if you mount it from the other side they face the other way.

Considering that I was machine gunned 3 times trying to take the Hotel last night I would say that they are remakably effective if used with skill.
But they are nothing as effective as they used to be on BF1942, yummy 😈
