ParticipantLol – what a find!
I remember getting sooo fucking annoyed at this game in the viseo arcades when I was a kid… bless you for letting me see the end 🙂
They have space ace as well – similarly impossible…

ParticipantDragon’s Lair was the dog’s dangles, had it on the Amiga and I rem. every day at school, trying to discuss how to advance to the next level. Much the same as Monkey Island.

Monkey Island? How can you compare this buggy/impossible and frustrating game with the subblime monkey island series? tsk tsk. Next you will be saying Grim Fandango wasnt the greatest game ever known to man!

ParticipantOne of my friends elder brothers was really good at Dragons Lair (and by that I mean didn’t die every 10 seconds). We used to go to the fair when it was in our village and just watch him play, just to see which new bit of the cartoon would show up. He never completed it though, and I don’t know of anyone else who did either. Quite a bizarre and confusing game, from what I recall.
Incidentally, the guy who designed the characters in Space Ace and Dragon’s Lair, was the guy who designed ‘The Incredibles’.
