Is it possible to enter a parachiting jeep?
Whilst trying to paradrop the humvee on to a sniper in the crane, I inadvertedly sent it spiraling to its doom – landing bang on top of Alzirs tank, promptly taking it out – would have been great had he not been on my side! However, the point of this little story is that I discovered that the jeep drop appears at about the same height as the top of the cranes – so would it be possible to enter said floating jeep from said top of crane?

That was a top quality moment. In fact I wish something like that had happened in Blackhawk Down, just to cheer everyone up with a bit of jeep on tank action.
It is fun dropping vehicles, but that’s going to get really crap, really quickly. It’s funny at first dropping vehicles on snipers etc, but people are going to use it as a weapon, not in the way that it’s supposed to be used.
IMHO you should only get the option to drop a jeep on some of the bigger maps like Wake, Oman and Dragon Valley. You don’t need a vehicle drop in Karki!

I thought that Friday 16th of June was all systems go for the drinks. On TS the other night it sounded like we might have about a dozen of us there if everyone turns up.

To be honest, if the missions they went on were impossible, then they wouldn’t be able to accomplish them, would they? Yet another badly named series of films. My suggestions for more apt titles have been:
“Mission: Unlikely”
“Mission: Not Probable”
“Mission: Not Easy”
“Mission: Harder than Usual, but not so much that it’s a waste of time even trying”
Still waiting to hear back from Hollywood on those.
Well they’re both welcome to the London drinks on the 16th. It’ll be a very cheap round if we get Cowboy there as well. He’s a tee totaller too.
