So what have I got to do to get Euro Forces on the server again this Thursday? We’ve got three more suckers… I mean players, who’ve purchased Euro Forces now so I reckon another session on Thursday would be a good laugh.
I thought the map rotation was good and after the initial confusion as to why everyone was swapping teams, that games we had were really well balanced and very close.

I think Itchinads was talking about Covent Garden as a possible venue last night. How does that sound? As long as it’s near to a nice curry house, then I give it a thumbs up!

That’s what the Pikeys around my way do.

Yeah a tad annoying that, out of the 4 games I played last night, I only played Euro Forces once!
I changed teams twice to balance the sides, but I guess that it’s because so many of the people playing have had the booster for a while but haven’t had a chance to play it proper, and they wanted to be ‘ze Germans’ as we decided they were last night.
I guess the novelty will eventually wear off for them. It was nice to see so many regulars on the server too. There were a lot of names I recognised who were playing, but not affiliated with 7DR, 1stBW or the Hussars.
Yup! Twas fun to play on a map where half of us had no idea which direction to go in. Bit of a shame the way that the lamers all changed teams in order to always be on the Euro Forces side, but I thought it worked out pretty well. A good turn out and we even made an extra £11.98 for EA Games by getting Cowboy and Underpants to open their wallets 😀

Thanks McQueen, I’ve been looking at the new Opteron chips. I’m not too worried about cranking a 2.0 Ghz chip up to 3.0 Ghz, but I like to make my money go as far as I can. 😉
As for the FX55 you sold, well I probably wouldn’t have been able to buy it then. Too much money going out and not enough coming in 😉
But let me know if you if anything that might be suitable comes in.

Would you guys be able to meander into London via the Silverlink line to Euston for a few beers? My sis says it’s a 35 minute journey into London from Leighton. If we find a nice venue near one of the tubes lines nearby you’ll be in and out in no time.

There are enough of us with Euro Forces to try it out. Which server admin do we have to threaten/sleep with in order to have a Euro Forces night tomorrow?
What about a 7pm kick off, running with the 16 player maps?
The Pasmore Pavillion was built as an experiment. The idea being that giving people a place to congregate and live in harmony would promote peace and love etc. All that ends up happening though is that the local kids who’ve been kicked out by their parents hang around and end up causing trouble.
Same with tower blocks and housing estates. They look great on paper and then for the first few years, but as they don’t belong to any of the tenents, what do they care about the state they’re in?
It seems that most architects seem to have a very high opinion of the human race, but they’re wrong.
was talking about that building the gurkin the other day – I thought it looked more like a penis than a gurkin… but in hindsite, i think its just an enormous butt plug!
