I’ll watch it, but I’m afraid Michael Moore is no better than the spin-doctors at the Whitehouse. Although I like some of his other stuff, he tends to do something that I don’t like with his documentaries, which is to make sure his opinion is 100% correct, even if all the facts don’t fit.
Bowling for Columbine was a good example of this. Why did those kids go on a killing rampage in their school? Well it was because Walmart sold 9mm ammo and because the town is home to military contractors, apparently.
Seems to me he takes a subject and uses it to bludgeon whichever political subject he feels strongly about.

I hear that one of the maps involves the terrorist insurgents trying to blow up an airport terminal made of glass and concrete, by crashing a car filled with petrol into it.
Basically, regardless of Anti-Terrorist forces actions, the attempt fails.
My neighbour once came around and politely asked me to please stop swearing so loudly, ‘cos they could hear it in their living room 😳
Although that was back in BF2 days, specifically the Great Wall of China map.
The thing I’ve learned is that if you’re going to play a BF title, play on the XDC server with the XDC players. At least that way if you get wasted by someone you know it isn’t so bad, and you can laugh about it on TS. No voting people off servers, or kicking just because you’re doing well.

Good for them! I’m fed up with people having shitty gardens, and it’s about time our nanny state started doing something about it. Also, I’d like to see a new law introduced to give the police the power to beat up and arrest chavs.

Regarless of if it’s an iphone or not, I think it’s pretty arrogant for that woman to turn up and buy a place in the front of the queue and then buy up all the iPhones in the store.

SOIA’s got a point. If I grew giant, man-eating, pork swords out of my shoulders I’d probably go and see a doctor. A male doctor. I certainly wouldn’t go on a killing spree, using aforementioned gob-stoppers to rend hit-men limb from limb.
Also, if one of these sentient tadgers detached itself from my person, I wouldn’t under any circumstances, wait around for it to reattach itself. I’d be hailing a taxi pretty fuckin’ quick!

Dr Who is doing well on TV at the moment, so they must be doing something right. But being the old git that I am, I can’t help thinking that Dr Who plays like an episode of ‘Celebrity News’?
It’s like everyone likes to pat each other on the back at how wonderfully camp the whole thing is. And half of the people they meet turn out to be gay. It’s become a bit of a ‘space panto’, occassionally interrupted by some OTT emmotional stuff and the Doctor falling in love with another woman only to have it end in tears.

“I love you Daisy from hit series ‘Spaced’ but it turns out that I’m a Time Lord and I’ve got to go now.”
Also, in the origional Dr Who, his assistants were usually fit birds who were either a) Amazons in furry bikini’s b) Posh totty in ball gowns c) Outer Space babes in leotards, or d) Robot dogs.
Now he’s accompanied by alcho-pop drinking chavs. If I wanted to see slappers I’d go to Hemel Hempstead, not tune in to the BBC’s premier sci fi show. Although having said that, an episode that isn’t set in Wales (for a change) but Hemel Hempstead would be a very good episode. Hemel’s like Slough except whenever you see a lone, 14 year old girl in Hemel you have to shout “Oi! Who’s looking after your baby?”

Enjoy it whilst you can JAR ‘cos if films have taught me anything it’s that any minute an armada of giant spaceships are going to turn up and destroy the Whitehouse. Then you’ll have to rely on Randy Quaid and Jeff Goldblum to save you, and to be honest if that’s the case I don’t fancy your chances.
