You make it sound as if I’ve got PBSD (Post Battlefield Stress Disorder), which I probably have! I reckon Signal and myself are a bit too much alike. Calm courteous people in RL and berserk, swearing maniacs when we play the Battlefield games!
If I was a single man, I reckon I’d be dividing my time between 2142 and RO, since I do like the idea behind the later. Spending a whole evening online in a WW2 environment would be a fine thing. But I’m married so I have to divide the time between 2142 and the wife.
I’d play RO n0m, but I reckon it needs too much concentration and patience than I can spare. Especially when my lady wants ‘qualitytime’.

I agree with the wise overclocker n0m.
I upgraded recently from a Socket A Athlon XP2800+ (just over 2 Ghz), to a Pentium D 820 (2.8 Ghz), the later being a dual processor chip. My machine boots about 10 seconds faster and 2142 probably loads about 5 seconds faster, but that’s about it (although I’ve not run any thorough tests).
But the machine’s a little cutie if I want to run a couple of apps at the same time, providing it’s nothing too intense. I imagine ripping a DVD to DivX whilst playing 2142 might cause problems, but browsing and or studying art whilst ripping is pretty sweet.
Now I’ve never classed myself as one of those have-a-go-heroes, but if I was in that shop and some toddler came in, giving it all that and wearing a hoodie like he was Snoopy Dog Dog, I’d just put any thoughts of my own personal safety out of my mind and just wade in. No questions or messing I’d just knock him down as quickly as I could and wait for the law to turn up. Sure, I’m doing their jobs for them, but you can’t just wait for the police to turn up like the cavalry everytime there’s some trouble.

Just rebuilt my PC and that bloody ‘Punkbuster’ keeps flashing up about 10 seconds into each game. No error message just an empty box with ‘Punkbuster’ in the top left hand corner.
Brand new installation on a clean HD. However my old installation still works? I’ll try updating Punkbuster and see if that does the trick.
Wheres the comfort factor? YAY it has a gimmicky screen.. woop de frickin doo.. Is the screen comfortable to look at whilst you game?? Bet you nobbers have Neon lights under your car and on the bonnet too .. cause it looks good :/
Insane you know NOTHING about cars do you? The three things that make cars go faster are the following:
1) Neon lights under the bonnet or selotaped under the front bumper.
2) Really loud music of an urban variety played at a uncomfortably high volume.
3) Stickers with MAX POWER plastered all over the windows.
In a proven test, a Vauxhall Nova left a Merc SLK for dead at the traffic lights on the A41 just outside Watford. I overheard the Nova’s owner, a teenager in a burberry cap, at one of my local pubs this weekend discussing how ‘the fucker in the SLK didn’t know what hit him’.
That’s all the proof I need.
When my mate tried to give up smoking I waded in to give him a hand. What I’d do is take his full packet of cigarettes and remove one, which I’d then insert filter end up my anus. After a few moments I would then remove said cigarette and put it back in the packet, being sure to shake it around.
My friend would then take the risk of smoking a cigarette that had been up my arse, a kind of Russian Roulette if you like. If he didn’t like those odds then he’d just have to not smoke.
Of course the first four times I did it I forgot to tell him, but eventually it seemed to work.
