I’m not sure how big the PSP box is, but for £7 I’d expect it delivered by Salma Hayek in a bikini.
He might not be responsible for when it arrives, but he sold you something and it should arrive. If I buy something from Amazon and they say “sorry it got lost in the post”, then they give me a refund. End of.
If you’re paying £7 for P&P then you should get your money’s worth. If he’s only spent £3.50 on posting it then he’s cut back on delivery costs and lied in the ad.
Here’s the thing: If he’s sent it recorded post and it was signed for then he’s got proof that it arrived with you. He’s covered his own back that it arrived, so if you start making up a story he can say that it did. The problem is now the Post Office’s.
If he’s just sent it first class (which I think £7 is more than) then he has no record to prove he sent it OR to be sure you recieved it. That to me sounds like he doesn’t want to prove either way, which sounds dodgy to me.
How did you pay for it BTW?
Hey WET! I’ve got a couple of bags of talcum powder I need transporting to a friend of mine in Italy. Any chance you could take them over for me? They’re stitched inside an old teddy bear, which is the safest way to ship them.

My G/F and I went to a rather posh party full of liberal types who write books and work in the media. Everything was going swimmingly until Nathalie got bored by the conversations about Che Guevara and decided to drink a whole bottle of bourbon in a pint glass with ice-cubes in it. The hilarity turned to terror when she became severley disorientatated and began throwing up so much that some good samaritan had to drive us home early, much to my embarrassment.
Anyway, next day apparently it was ME not her that had done that and some of her friends even sent photographic ‘proof’ that I had been a drunken arse. Photographs that could have easily been modified in any number of computer packages I hasten to add.
However I still stand by my belief that it was her and not myself who was pissed, even though I can’t remember much about the evening. Except trying to hide in a cupboard.

One of my neighbours brough a Mac Powerbook over ebay a few years back and (surprise, surprise) it never turned up. She paid £700 for the priviledge.
Having said that, a mad French bloke who I used to work with brought a Plymouth Prowler from America over ebay for £12000, and that turned up.

It was weird during the London get together when I get to meet everyone and find out they’re not really called MadHippy or Minti 😯
