Now you’ve got to go out and watch ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and the upcoming movie ‘Hot Fuzz’. They’re both made/being made by the same team who did Spaced.

I hear what you’re saying Lensman, but I think we don’t look because we take them for granted. It’s a bit like if you play a pre 2000 PC game these days, the graphics stand out because they’re so bad; no anti-aliasing, blurring etc.
Every now and then I notice something on BF2 that makes me go “woah”, and normally it’s the tiniest of details, but it’s that attention to detail that impresses me. For example I was watching the tank tracks as they bumped over a ridge and how the suspension worked. Very cool.
I think we’ve got to the stage with graphics now that we only really notice the glitches and not the nice touches.
Okay, so the deathstar just blew up. What happened next?
THis film and ‘Hot Fuzz’ are the two that I’m most looking forward to at the moment. From what I’ve heard Clerks II isn’t a let down.

The final straw was when I was armed with a G3 and some clown I was firing at bunny hopped towards me and took me down with a pump action shotgun, and I’d fired the first few shots into his back! The thing that winds me up though is that I get angry at myself because I should have taken the guy down easily.
Still, at least you can look up other folks BF2 stats and see how accurate they really are. Makes you realise that it’s not as bad as you think.
Now I’m not a doctor Munkee, but it sounds to me like you’re probably going to die. These doctors with their voodoo ways and fancy drugs are just feeding you a line and delaying the innevitable. Just ask Doc, I’m sure he’s the first to admit that medicine isn’t a real science and most of those names that they put on the bottles are just made up. Torcetrapib? Pah! Nonsense!
However I can have the members of my church pray for you to save your soul. Obviously this doesn’t come cheap, but we can pray and pray until you’re saved for a measley £600. If it doesn’t work, this money is not refundable.
We don’t care how you get the money (mugging old ladies, selling drugs, kidnapping the Beckhams kids etc.), but we only accept cash.

These are all very cool ideas and logos. I started to draw up a shield, but it was crap.
I think there was a thread on the old forums when we all started suggesting team slogans for XDC. We came up with some corkers as I remember…

Much as it pains me to do so, I must agree that our resident snow-boarding Scot has a point. Titanic isn’t that bad and here’s why:
1) It’s got Kate Winslett in it. She’s almost as sexy as Allsop, with her posh voice and impressive gams.
2) Dicaprio gets killed.
3) It was indeed directed by the legend that is James Cameron
However there are a few points that aren’t in it’s favour
1) Celine Dion sang the title song which has since appeared in EVERY talent show since. And it’s Dion. Dear god. Why?
2) It has Dicaprio in it, and he just looks like one of those kids at school who used to spend all breaktime talking to the teachers who were on duty to make sure we didn’t hurt each other.
3) I knew what was going to happen from the beginning. I was like “Hmmmm… I reckon that ship’s gonna sink.”
4) A love story? WTF? What’s next? A musical comedy about Stephen Lawrence?
So it’s 4 bad points to 3 good points.
