as for the sitting on the couch playing games in front of a big tv. i sit at my PC in a comfy arm chair, playing my games on a 24″ widescreen HD monitor which gives better pictures than any TV, i have my 360 plugged into my monitor as it gives better pictures than a TV.

Couldnt agree more, cant be the cursor keeys imho, but saying that, Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PS3 is sexual.
i have always loved the MGS series, but i cant justify buying the PS3 just for one game 🙁
Found the video of the actual gameplay. its part of a seminar that CCP gave at fanfest this year. the video of Dust 514 is at 1hr15. its a hefty video so if you arent interested in eve i would suggest letting it buffer up to that point then just watch it. there is about 15 minutes of gameplay etc. the game is still in early stages but it gives you an idea of what to expect.

this is 1st person, but it is a space game in that its set in the eve universe
as far as i know from what i have heard/read about dust it will be seperate but part of eve. there was a gameplay video from the fanfest but i cant find it, it was part of one of the presentations. its 1st person unlike global agenda which is 3rd person. dust isnt a subscription based model either, it relies on microtransactions to make money.
ah yeah i forgot to post this on here a few weeks ago. looks good, although im not sure that it should be a console only game. at least the devs arent trying to make a cross platform game and then screw it all up with crappy controls/graphics etc
this shit pisses me right off. lazy fuckers, thats what IW are. cant be arsed to implement a proper server system so they fob off the 360 matchmaking system to pc fans.
its fine for the console version, it simplifies the whole process but there is no need for it to be done for the pc.
I would love to, however i have been unemployed for so long that my finances are somewhat dwindled so for me the only option is really just playing some games.

i eventually watched it on apple trailers. looks fantastic it really does. definately one to watch on the big screen

the thief series for me has always been the best stealth game around, so i was really happy to read recently that they are working on thief4.
but back on track, im not sure about this batman game, i will wait till i have read several reviews before making a decision.
