1st game i ever played was pong, i think my old man still has the console up in the loft even now.
But what really gave me the gaming bug was Elite on the BBC. That game was sweeeet. 🙄
yeah, it’s sorted now. I can now log onto my Steam ID, haven’t had chance to try a game yet, i’m half expecting the account to be banned by VAC. There’s nothing finer than a person who’s hacked your account go on to use it using various hacks and get permabanned, your screwed from joining any secure server then. 😯
looks like my account has been hyjacked,again, i haven’t been able to access it since before the new year but my steam community page reakons i was last online 3 days ago, so if you see me logged in ,please feel free to give the guy who hacked my account a good round of bollockings. 😡

I’ve been dissappointed with multiplay for a while, but i thought the fact we’d got a dedicated box would mean a cure to the lag issues we’ve had with them for a while.Appartently not. It’s VERY poor service, especially when you consider the fact we’ve been with them for years, well as long as i can remember. 🙄

Some very good points made in this thread.
I agree that XDC seems to be struggling on the community side of things, though i think this is mainly due to the fact that we have blocked our forums to new member due to the actions of 1 small minded ( and dicked) fuckwit. I think it should be made a priorty to re-open the forums. I think this means, ultimately, we should make available funds to get the webspace it needs and stop relying on magickers. We all can acknowlegde his contribution over the years, but the risk to himself and Lis has become unacceptable.
The majority of us are still out there playing games on a regular basis, but i must admit, i’ve been lazy on the TF2 front, it’s been easier to go on a already full server than go on our own and biuld it up. I’ll make sure this changes and make more of an effort on the community side of things, but it’s a little pointless advertising our forums if when the punters get here they can’t easily see what XDC are all about.
Yeah, i was having trouble with the admin menu last night, i’ve checked the admin.txt config and done a server restart and it seems to be sorted, at least for me.
i’ve never been able to find the XDC server via the server list since the name change, i’ve only been able to connect using the console.

Meh, season 2 hasn’t got me going as much as i’d hoped, still enjoying it, but it hasn’t got the edge, like in season 1.
It’s very much the same old same, blah blah, save the world, add a few more superheroes in the mix, blah blah, sylars evil…
Dexter is where it’s at, i haven’t enjoyed a TV series so much in AGES.
open the console by pressing the tab key in the wank server list, then type “connect 85.236.100.34”.
Since the server name was changed, or it was made into an hardcore server i haven’t been able to see it either, i’ve double checked all the filter options, but thats the only way i’ve been able to connect to it.

It does kind of freak you out somewhat, but my little lad found it hilarious. 😀
