Not been around in the week, so no gaming at all, due to working nights in some god forsken place called North Shields for the last 5 weeks. 🙁

bought it this afternoon, and i goota say it’s shite. I really shouldn’t play FPS on the console, 9 outta 10 games just play shit (GoW & R6:V excepted).

I’ve been playing TF2 most of the weekend. It’s just a fun game to play, looks very nice and has tactic edge to it.

I’d have thought more XDC would have been playing it. 🙁

Surely it’s getting to a point whereby we need to ban Legit, if simply to make it plainly clear he isn’t wanted on here anymore and just deal with his new accounts one by one.

At the end of the day, he’s a guest on these forums that we pay for. If he doesn’t like what we post, tbh, he should have the decency of fucking off, or if he hasn’t,he should made to understand how most of us feel about the annoying cockknocker.

ah well, remove all mention of the bloke concerned and suck it up. Looks like the blanket ignore on legits post may be getting to him.

For fucks sake legit, i think i can say for the WHOLE of XDC (bar 1, who thinks you need serious professional mental health needs, but he’s taken a legally binding oath to care for the poor and downtrodden, however low they may have sunk) we are sooooo fucking bored of anything you have to say at the moment……i really do think the best course of action is to totally ignore anything you have to say.

At the end of the day, you seem to be in self destruct mode, coming on here, leaving little titbits to try and stir up a bigger battle, it really is pointless trying to argue with you or even banning you from the forum, like quite a few members have suggested ( i’m sure your pro computer skills can get round the IP ban).

At the end of the day, this “clan” (and i do use the term loosely) was formed by like minded mature blokes to have a few hours of downtime to enjoy gaming. TBH, your post’s are, at best, an inconvience,i honestly think you have NOTHING to say that remotely interest the majority of the lads, and i really do think the best course of action is to completely ignore each and every post you make. I’m sure there must be loads of “suicidal bikers/pro haxor/i’m always correct no matter how much shit i spout” forums you can troll. 🙄

That stellarium is a cracking peice of software. I’d been using an old copy of starry night which you have to buy, but stellarium looks great.

I think you’d be best off with a decent pair of bino’s with a steady tripod. Like you said, if you get fucked off with it, they’ll come in handy somewhere down the line.

Like i said, you’ll get very good lunar views, you “might” just be able to make of stuff like saturn/jupiters moons, but don’t forget to check out the deep space stuff like the pleiades ( follow orions belt, just to the right of Mars). I have a South Westerly facing garden, and i still get the bino’s out on a nice night. It was a bit of a fuck around setting the scope up on freezing nights, letting it cool down to ambient temperatures. You have to align the scope correctly, as the high magnification means that stuff like jupiter and saturn move pretty fast thru the eyepiece and you are constantly having to keep the scope moving to keep them in the centre of the eyepeice, so it’s not a scope you can get out just for a few minutes, the tripod and counterbalances must weigh 50-60lb’s and the scope itself stands at chest height to me and 8″ in diametre.

When we eventually move, i’m definatly moving out of the city and i’ll invest more time and money in it. The scope i have is really a nice bit of kit, but to get the best out of it you really need dark skies and a couple of 12v motor drives.
