i’ve only played Arma multiplyer twice and the lag was unbelievable, completely unplayable for me, even though my ping was in the mid 40’s.
As for BFtwentytwelve, i think i’ve given up playing it due to the poor performance on my PC, it’s suddenly gone very very slow, but i think it has more to do with me installing Vista. 👿
RO is still playing great, even though our server seems to have died a death in the last week, it’s been empty.
No news on the 2Mb/4Mb upgrades, just the 10Mb to 20Mb/386k to 728k upgrade has been announced so far.
I’m almost sure you’re still on the 4 Mb line with that sprog. To check your cable modem speed, type in http://192.168.100.1/logs.html in your browser and there should be an entry somewhere that is similar to “SW Download INIT – Via Config file cm-10240-384”, 10240 being the download speed and 384 being the upload, if you are still on the 4Mb ,it’ll likely say “SW Download INIT – Via Config file cm-4080-384”.
Incidently, you’ll be glad to here that they are soon to be doubling download AND upload speeds soon.

for the sake of a fiver i thought i’d have a go at it…….try to buy it thru EA downloader, the fucking thing won’t let me buy it. I fill in my details and press continue, but it just keeps refreshing the page.

i’m getting full 10Mb speeds and it’s getting upped to 20Mb in may……..granted it’s overpriced and there are a few problems with poeple getting throttled, but hell it’s fast.
Aye, sorry m8, i’ve been working miles away recently, so not getting a lot of time for games and forums, plus been playing Arma SP exclusively but completed the campaign and missions last night, so back to MP gaming.
If only i could convince the firm to get me some local jobs now….i’m sick of travelling to Newcastle/Skeggy/Scarbourgh/Manchester/Birmingham/carlise, it’s really getting in the way of my gamig time……..company car is less than 12months old and has 23k on the clock 😮
this weeks episode is another classic, this series honestly gets better and better each week, well worth the time invested in watching it.
Although in typical US fashion, they are gonna make us wait until the 23rd April before giving us another episode. 😯

that only thing i’m very frustrated about is the AI, makes teamwork impossible in single player, i haven’t yet played multiplayer yet, so can’t comment.
i’d guess international, but i can’t get any of the mirrors to work
the euro one say’s it’s for the version released by 505 games, which, at least, mine isn’t.
