Perhaps, if we get enough donations, we could raise the player count to 48……36 just doesn’t seem to be enough anymore…….i had the server up and full within 5 minutes this morning……i knows it a new game and all, but our server sure is popular these days.
ok i found a bizaar fix for my problem…..turns out i needed to re-install the EA downloader on top of the old one……works fine. 😕
doesn’t work for me……whenever i try and run BF2142 i get an error EC:5570.
tried downloading that patch, no joy……tried searching on the EA BF2142 forums, but the search forums option is borked……all in all a complete fuck up.
so how about this for another EA kick in the knackers………..so we (the UK) get to pay 20 bucks more than the yanks plus they’ve been playing it since tuesday while the EA downloader say i have to wait until midnight.

i’ve come to the fact, despite all my bitching about EA, i KNOW i’ll buy the fucking game, so i might as well swallow all my pride and i’ve ordered the game on download, such as i’m a lazy idle bastard it’ll be weeks before i’ll get to the shop to buy it.
so i guess i’ll be seeing you on the server tomorrow……or when i battle all the countless other plebs fighting for bandwidth from EA sludge server.
my old man foolishly signed up to talk talk………..so now he’s left with a non working ADSL line and a support line that cost’s £1 a minute with fucknuts on the other end who can’t help him because he has a router even though it was supplied by them at a hugely inflated price.
So now i have to find time to go up there and tinker with his setting and shout at a fuckwit tech guy thats costing him best part of £20. 🙄
303 air’s in the states on wednesday, afaik unless it’s leaked by the networks it isn’t shown earlier anywhere else.
