My CS:Source has shit a brick and won’t let me on any servers, so it’s back to BF2 & RO for now. 🙄
it was the middle of the afternoon, when i saw i knocked off early, what i mean’t to say was i went in for 1/2 hr. you minions would have been at work.
well i got off work early today and took a trip out to the sound and vision store in back of beyond Bolton.
i spent over an hour deciding which TV to buy, i gotta say, the salesman was a typical wanker, but what ya gonna do when they have decent prices?

but in the end i ended up with the panasonic plasma, i really did like the toshiba, and it looked stunning watching the HD tennis, but what put me off was the motion blurr and what i can only describe as a net curtain effect when looking at the picture up close.
anyhow, i tried to get the fucking huge bastard thing in the estate……not a fucking hope……it’s getting delivered early next week, when i have to work nights in a one horse village in wales for 4 nights. so i’ll not be enjoying it while Friday at the earliest, if i don’t die whilst falling asleep driving back to Sheffield friday morning….it really would be just my luck. 😥
aye, thats where i’ve been getting the best prices anyhow, seems a good online shop.
i think i’m leaning towards the tosh, does the 1920×1080 res mean i get a much better picture? I was reading somewhere that if you get a 720 telly, sometimes the picture gets fucked up because it has to convert it?

Munks, get yaself to sheffield and if all goes well and i can make it, i’ll give ya a lift no probs. Although it would probably be easier for you to make Manchester and Mike give ya a lift if he’s going, as i think the trains run down the west side of the country and you’d probably have to change trains in manchester to get to sheffield, but i can let you know well in advance if i can make it or not.
i might be up for this, Matlock is only 3/4 of an hour away from me. let us know of times and dates.
i went to the ebuyer warehouse sale this morning, i saw a BFG 7900GT Overclocked card for £160INC VAT, i did think of you max, but i thought naw, fuck it.
the only issue i had with the original game was the random kicks from the server saying you had TK’d too much when if fact i hadn’t TK’d at all…….honest!!
idummo, i remeber slagging off sven when he brought him on for rio ,but niot much after that………..just thankj fuck we haven’t got the krauts in the 2nd round, but god help us against Ecuador.

no, m8, i think we all realised you’d had one or two guiness’s too many( although, as i remember, you left at least 2 pints undrunk) in that last pub we went in, you couldn’t seem to stand up straight, i bet you don’t even remember meeting Terry Venables in that last boozer we went in. 😆
It was a blinding night and i think everyone enjoyed it, you’re all a top notch set of lads, although i woke at 11am with a fooking blinding headache, the missus dragged my out for something to eat then i fell asleep in the hotel room until 5pm, hence missing half the concert i was supposed to go see, although i made it in time for Queens of the Stone Age, Motorhead and the mighty mighty Foo Fighters.

Top bit of the night?……neon trying ,unsuccessfully, to convince some old boilers we were in fact MI5 agents, and beer was my codename, and as i remeber one of them wanted hippy as her new husband, which prompted calls of time for another pub……run away
gonna be in the big smoke from around 2ish, hopefully have the wife tucked up in the digs by, oooooo, 5-5.30ish then head on down the pub.
i have absolutly no idea where i’m going or how to get there, but i’ll probably give WET a ring and follow his drunken instructions. 8)
