What a comical fuckin’ second Swede goal that was. I mean, what the fuck was Sol Campbell doing? What was Hargreaves doing? ffs…..
All in all, I thought it was a great first half, with Joe Cole running the show, but we got dismantled in the second. I don’t like this five man midfield either. Still, we won the group, but I really can’t see the likes of us doing anything against, say, Argentina.

idummo, i remeber slagging off sven when he brought him on for rio ,but niot much after that………..just thankj fuck we haven’t got the krauts in the 2nd round, but god help us against Ecuador.
we did win the group – BUT i reckon whoever wins the final would be capable of winning against Sweden 🙄 Plus if Sweden can put 2 past us with their forewards i’d be a bit worried what the likes of the Argy’s/Spain and Brazil could do 😕
sweden were very strong in the second half. not worried about brazil. The argies,spanish,dutch,swedes,germans are gonna nbe the problem!

Yeah, I got that e-mail with the Crouch pictures this morning as well. Some of ’em are pretty good but none of them are half as funny as watching him try to play football.
Pissing me off now, Crouch has scored 5 times in the ast 5 games, more consistent than anyone else of late, he is a good player, not a great player. Besides which he is playing in a holding role and some of his skills are quite awesome to watch, they just look odd because he is so lanky.

Crouch = only good for one thing.. his height.. see above for effectiveness.. I’d rather put Lee Trundle of Swansea on.. he’s as skillfull as they come and scores all the time.. shite load better than pipecleaner man.. but unfortuantly will never see the england squad.. feck me AJ now of everton would be a better choice
Tuther day when they played cole behind striker *preferably rooney or owen (Not this WC 🙁 ) if fit* and lennon on the wing added some excitment to the play
