Just a thought Max, I’ve been trawlling the BF4 forums, and it seems theres an issue that if you pre-ordered around June or before, EA have fucked up with the order and may have cancelled Your order……….

You sure you’re connected to the VPN and then re-started Origin. You can check You are properly connected by checking the Store in Origin and looking at the countdown timer, it should be 1 day something.
Then go to Your games and hover over BF4 and it should give You the option to pre-load.
My preload is all done , In theory We can connect to a Korean VPN and be playing by tomorrow, but I don’t know if any Europe or US server are up yet.
Ok, I managed to start the preload this morning using the VPN to start the download, then turn it off to continue and get my full speed of 1.8M/Sec. Still gonna take 5 hours to complete the 24.5Gb file.
I think the 1 day pre-load window EA have given might not be enough for some people………not You, Max……obviously 😀
I’m not so sure I can use VPN to preload, I’ve no preload date in my Origin BF4 icon, unlike the US orders. 🙄
got a free upgrade on my giganews account for 2 months which gives me a free VPN ,I now live in Washington DC. 😈
i think their home market is technically Sweden. It’s to do with historical games release days in different countries….i.e UK is always Friday.
ok, Had a fuck around with VPN’s and using flyvpn free account was able to change the release date time from 6 days to 3 days.
Looking at the BF4 forums people have had the go ahead from the EA guys for using VPN’s (though the tweets were taken down by EA)
But fuck it, I’m going to be using the VPN to unlock the game, fuck the archaic, outdated games release rules.
Edit pre-ordered BF4, but the preload might be the arse kicker. preload for UK is 31st Oct, 26th Oct for the states. Probably need the VPN to preload early…..but downloading god only knows how many Gb’s thru VPN might be a problem.
The game god’s really need to sort worldwide release dates out. 🙁
hmmm, I wonder if the old VPN trick will work this time round when BF4 is released around the world 2 days earlier than europe?
Didn’t EA do the same with BF3, but most of us were able to fool the game into unlocking early?

Meh, the glory days were made better by the modding community. at least you got a few free games. BF2 anyone?
yeah, same as BF3 premium…..You need the game itself at £46 THEN buy premium @ £40.
