Actually I think we recruited them all 😉 But these FRT guys are a decent bunch – heed the itchi’s words. And nice to see a full server last night – Northern Strike seems to bring people in.

Tough one. There’s a few ways of denying access totally but the exception is the problem.
Could try enforcing a proxy server that doesnt exist, and then specifying the website where the link is as an exception.
User Configuration > internet Explorer Maintenance > Connection > Proxy Settings
Check “enable proxy settings”, put in fake IP address, then uncheck ‘Do not use proxy server for Local (intranet) addresses.
You could then add the server address where the secure link is to the exceptions list. Problem is they could probably browse to other pages on the excepted server.
If you got really clever you could set up the fake proxy server address to point to a real page which says ‘Fook off – no internet for you mate!’
Let me know if you crack this one….

He really is quite a sad and insecure character yet pompous and totally outrageous at the same time. He may have a valid point about the wrongs of posting some poor fuckers address on the forum but his msn post is littered with hypocrisy and double standards which leave him well short of the moral highground.
He cleverly misses out exactly why I think he’s done this. He asked to join XDC when Messy, PoD and Divie did and we turned him down. Although I doubt he would admit to being disappointed now it clearly had an affect on him as he is targeting all of us with his actions not just Mike.
He says its the way he was treated over making top rank in 2142 in the space of a fortnight – If he knew anything about XDC he would have known we don’t give a toss about such ‘achievements’.
I’ve been against banning him until this but now I can’t really see any other way forward. What do we gain from having him around now? He has dumped on all of us to purely to show ‘he is still there and not someone who can be ignored’. I’m sorry if he has neurological problems but we are not a charity and I’m tired of reading the same old self righteous idiotic arguments he posts.
Please cancel his account now. Don’t flatter his ego with a PM or post explaining why. Just do it quietly. I know he may rejoin but as he enjoyed pointing out we aint exactly overwhelmed with new members so it will be obvious if he tries to sign up again.
