I personally would like to see today’s youth make much greater use of the classic comic lingo of yesteryear.

I suppose all the people who ‘died’ in the plane crash at the pentagon have been secretly moved to a secure military facility to live the rest of their days (obviously the same place where they filmed the fake moon landings in ’69) and where they will dine with Lord Lucan and be entertained by Elvis. 🙄
Yeah its been pretty bad for the past 2 – 3 weeks. Max is on holiday which doesn’t help. And its the weather, exams, footy etc.
I find the 256 server is a decent alternative in situations like this. Good team work. And they were playing SF last night which I hadn’t played in a while.

I’m loathe to purchase another “EA charging for what should be free” module if it results in the only server I play on being empty. 🙁 Will it be going back to the standard rotation? A mixture? Something that lets it get full again? 🙂

Its only been on since Tuesday when AF was released and its to give everyone the chance to play it – something we didnt really do with Euro Forces. To be honest the slowdown on the server predates the AF release – for whatever reason – exams, warm weather maybe – and it was getting tough filling the server even on Karkand.
Its likely that in the near future we will include the AF maps into the standard rotation, so consider getting it. The maps are all good – so its worth the money – not sure i would say the same of EF. Its a shame really they didnt release AF earlier – i think alot of people were turned off BF2 by the EF booster and are now going to miss out on some of the best maps.
Have to agree with Lensman – there’s no reason why EA should release substantial content like this for free, one year after the release of BF2. Once everyones bought BF2 there’s no more revenue coming in. I reckon in a few years we will be paying monthly subs to play online games like this and we will look back on the current situation very fondly!
