Try doing a manual punkbuster update..

Similar CTDs happened to me with this and Euro Farces. This sorted it out. Worth a go.
Like it, although I have come to the conclusion, the reason behind the huge maps, is primarily for the A10 Tank Buster!

Flares don’t help and you are lucky if you can dodge the odd missile, but that’s rare. Anyone that can get a lock on the a10 has a 90% chance of killing it in a aaa vehicle. *about a 60-70% chance in mounted aaa*
Yeah, noticed you had a few issues mate. Seems to be a common theme at the moment for quite a few people.
not bad although only played the one map upto now :/
Agree about the flares, theve swapped them for Matches! 🙄
I’ll wait a month or two before making my purchase of AF. It looks pretty good, but I’ll wait until there are a few more XDC bods with it and we start putting the maps into circulation more frequently.
I’ll also make some amendments to the list of XDC members (and hangers on) who have BF2, EF, SF and AF.
Sooo…. is it just OUR server that everybody is CTD ? As ive heard peeps say that they havent done it on tother servers!

Neon its £5.99 – thats 2 of your London pints and what you’d piss up the wall in half an hour on a night out. 😀
I’ve just played the one map so far but had a look at the others and it looks way better than EF. These maps are big – open fields on two of them with lots of armour and insignificant air power. Too early to say whether any of them will be classics but it could be the tank battle maps we’ve all been waiting for.

I have on almost all the server i have tried to play on… Its not multighey problem ether as i am getting it on non multighey servers.
*edit* wippy… op harvest is going to be a classic.

Nope, I CTD on a Dutch server twice when trying to join and a german server once when 5mins into a game.
Was on your sever when it crashed though.
