Ok… well i tried to but the (please excuse the lamens terms here) blue port on my graphics card is the same shape, but has a different pin configeration than the blue port on my onboard graphics card…
I have an ASUS SK8V mobo btw and a 9800XT… is this just a cabling issue, or am i being silly?
I have told mesh, and they need to pick it up, which wll probably take an age. If this onboard thing doesnt work, will sticking in an old (but working!) ATI graphics card do the business? … If so I would need to aquire one from somewhere first…

Nah my mate lives there… we went to the pub quiz at the something a sye… or something! really local place, about 5 mins drive from the centre (well Tesco metro area if thats the centre!)… the bar maid was large and nice, and bar man hug… both with lots of tattoos… tiny bar… big car park… lots of chopped wood outside… You must know it!
We came second last… not bad since none of our team was born before 1981!… some nobbish team got 53/60… fucking cheating bastards – so I glassed them and shat on the table!

hehe… well I would try to give it a clean, but it is locked in place with some metal thing which I cant undo… bloody mesh!
I didnt get time to try out the onboard graphics last night… would I have to disable the card in the bios or something first – as I couldnt see how to do that, and there is no way I can see that I can take the card out…
