That gif is funny. I had and maybe still am considering picking one up but it’s always painful to be an early adopter. I think space is a big issue, the only place in my house where I could use it is my living room which means carting my PC down there or buying another capable machine to use down there.
I picked up a google cardboard to play around with VR, played around for a day or so, “though this is fun”, and then never really went back. I’d worry that I’d spend all that money on something I’d use very infrequently.
Hence why living in Canada is pretty awesome. The retail space I am looking at just $385/month… like less than 200 quid!

ParticipantHave any of you used the HTC Vive? It is literally groundbreaking. I am considering purchasing the Business Edition for public rental – looking at some potential locations this weekend.

ParticipantSO I have Kodi and Exodus and it seems pretty cool, but the video stutters too noticeably to be able to watch it. Could this be the S3 not being fast enough (RAM wise?)… The phone is about 2 meters from the wireless router, and I have hard wired the phone to the TV via a 11pin mhl to hdmi.
Quick fact – with the phone connected to the tv via HDMI, I can control kodi with the Sony TV repote… Mind Blown.

ParticipantWow… This new search engine called Google really helped me out…http://gs3.wonderhowto.com/how-to/turn-old-galaxy-s3-other-android-device-into-streaming-media-player-0155025/

ParticipantCool. Cheers for the help with this. My wife has an old Samsun Galaxy s3… Could we use that? I read you can either connect via HDMI or with some screen mirror add-on for the TV (Sony), but wireless can lag. I also have a Samsung phone- is there a way to have her old phone (which has a fucked battery) plugged in via HDMI and to the mains and then remotely download using my phone connected to hers?

ParticipantAwesome! What streaming sites are good?

ParticipantOh good – I knew I could rely on good old XDC!
I want to be able to sync my calendar and emails to my phone, as well as view the calendars of my staff (2). I also need to be able to put on my out of office, which I understand cannot be done easily from POP3.
Other than that, what else does MS Exchange allow? We are a very small office so nothing too crazy.

ParticipantI should probably add that as an NPO we are on a very limited budget, so interested in knowing the varying costs… if that comes in to it?!

ParticipantI am playing citys: Skylines and Fallout 4
