ParticipantHmmm… I would give it 6/10…
They have taken 3 maps from an 8 year old game
They have taken the engine from a game released last year
They have chucked in countless other unoriginal stuff… 3 classes? about 3 types of vehicles…
Granted its only a tenner, but its not really gripping… I ranked up about 5 times last night… and got nothing for it!! Will be bored of it in a week!Looks pretty though 🙂
And why so much hatred to PS3 gaming? Cant see how its any different from Xbox other than the controller…?!

ParticipantErrr…it’s alright…£10 gets you 3 v similar maps, 3 classes, a few vehicles… And that’s about it… Presume there will be more content soon, butvatm it’s lacking somewhat!
TurksMeister
Participant£12 but presume there will be extra content to buy… clever clever!
The model works really well with COD … each pack of 3 extra maps costs £8… they must make a packet!!

Because it comes out in October or something!!

ParticipantSoooooo… will it be downloadable on PS3 or do I need to get from shops?
Edit… and how much is it?

ParticipantSo you have a fast raptor just for OS? why wouldnt you install games on it too?
If I have fast raptor for OS, is it easy (I assume it is) to link all the my documents crap to a bigger non os drive?
Been playing lots of COD5 on the PS3… love it, although not too different from COD4. You played the new BF yet?

ParticipantOk… taking heed of both Doc and Nom (and completely ignoring Toothbrush!)… I have come up with this (Budget increased ein bisen!)… How does it look? Full price: £707 inc VAT and Del.

*Edit* Just saw this on Toms Hardware:
As impressive as the Radeon HD 4890 is with its 100 MHz core and 75 MHz memory overclock versus the older Radeon HD 4870, we’re looking at a real-world 10% speed increase over the cheaper Radeon HD 4870.
Thinking I may save £30 and go for the 4870 instead…

ParticipantBut would the difference between 800mhz and 1066mhz be noticible?

ParticipantOk… 1 more question as you are doing so well!
With a HD enclosure, will I be able to access my old drives (which had win xp on them) and extract all the info (music/porn etc) easily?
Thanks

ParticipantWord up!
Would getting a 10000rpm drive as my main drive make much of a difference when loading programs?
And I am worried about the PSU lark and upgrading… hmmm
I also keep pushing my budget up… silly boi!

ParticipantJust mixing it up a bit!
My MA bought from PC specialist and were very happy with them – will take a look myself today.

They have an open case policy,
They are hundreds of years old, so gopefully wont dissapear with the crunch…TurksMeister
ParticipantI live with 2 Doctors so think i am in safe hands… just joined the semi solid crew, so think i am ok!
Would rather spend it on a shit card – can still play COD4 with that, so why bother getting something better? Would rather spend the extra on a 24inch screen or something… besides – you specced me with a £700 pc!!
