Just btw, the game appears to lag the ticket count randomly at the end of a match, and no matter what it says on the screen the count for the defeated player is always zero in reality.

Good to see you Lammie 🙂 BC2 is the game we’re focusing on at the moment, with our own server and all, and it seems to be working out ok so far. The fur faced one has actually gone off the deep end, but you’re right it’s hillarious to see. I’m thinking we should post him a mach 3 turbo incase it’s itchy whiskers annoying him 🙂
Nice one Doc. It’s hard to get an appreciation of scale from those pictures if they really were 15 ft, but you can see they’re big in that last photo for sure. I’d be pretty scared surfing near those rocks as well though, and maybe you should try moving slightly over to the right a bit where it looks likes there might be a beach in the bay 😉
Back to the topic at hand… This tournament could actually be quite interesting. Stalker, having never played a 1v1, just took me down to 40 odd Victory points in a game, and I honestly thought he had me for a moment or two as well!
Pop into JSD bar Streff, which is where XDC and friends tend to be. Pretty sure Max (Reaver in eve), Silversides, Crazy Hippo, and Wizzywig will still be playing.
I’ll even attempt to join this, so long as it doesn’t clash with any of the football.
Oh and time for a BC2 forum I think…
I’ve been too busy the last couple of nights getting drunk, so put this on the backburner temporarily, but back on the case now. I’ll work out a schedule for it tonight, so last call for entries 🙂

SpunksThat’s a good number of new and old players, so everyone should have at least a few even matches. I’d suggest the newer guys save replays of their games vs the likes of Doc and Spunker, so even if you are destroyed by them, it’s a good opportunity to pick up some tips.

Recoil was talking about it in a thread about here not too long ago. Personally I’m sceptical whether it’s going to be that good.
Doc, in your case it might be better waiting at least a day until after major patch has been released, or possibly try and find a good mirror (like multiplay used to provide us and assuming it’s an option for BC2). Patch days are likely to overload their servers and make errors like this more likely.

I’m going to say this very cautiously but I tried BC2 again this evening, tweaking some settings, and it actually seemed playable. Still not as smooth as I can play TF2, and the gfx are shit, but I was at least able to see who was shooting at me this time, and killed a couple of them too. We’ll see how this goes for online play tomorrow, with a more rigourous test, because I think I was at a quiet spot.
Anyway, I suppose you can add Alzir to the list now 🙂
A few more Livingston derby matches would be good, or at least someone Ano might be able to beat 🙂
