I went out to see the waves today as planned… but they scared the shit out of me. These pics on my phone give you no idea of the scale at all… there were several waves with 15 foot faces I reckon.
Nice one Doc. It’s hard to get an appreciation of scale from those pictures if they really were 15 ft, but you can see they’re big in that last photo for sure. I’d be pretty scared surfing near those rocks as well though, and maybe you should try moving slightly over to the right a bit where it looks likes there might be a beach in the bay 😉

Doc -Damn, they look like some angry waves even without a reference point for scale. And the rocks are looking mighty jaggy… But yeah, not surprised you didnt give it a bash.

To put it in context… if a surfer got into that barrel in pic 3…. I reckon he could stand up straight and still have 4-6 foot spare! 😯
