Oh and as for flash, Andy can answer that regarding the forums, but the home page might be tircky, as I’d have to figure out how to incorporate it into wordpress. It’s surely possible, but I had enough trouble working out how to mould a template into what we’ve got at the moment. If Andy could kindly reset my login details to the ftp server, and pm them to me, I could have another look?

It can be Milo, but it’s usually when admins have messed around with server settings like respawn timers, or overload their servers with too many people. We tend to stick to better servers with settings as close to vanilla as we can find, and this is where the game can be played properly. You just need team conscious players then to have a good game, which we’ve had a lot of on TS recently.
I actually don’t mind the grey and black, and was thinking of adopting a similar colour scheme on the front page 🙂 Upload Jonny’s one though, and at least see how it looks….he is the artist afterall 🙂
Oh and I managed to find the emails we shared back when working on the site, but a header image without the search area wasn’t included. How hard would it be to scrub out?
Awesome Andy, I think it looks a lot better compared to the original. I’ll see if I can find the original file which doesn’t have the search box (which may confuse people), but I may have to ask Jonny. Great job.
Well I quite like this one, it’s the first time I’ve ever made a change to the theme which I feel like sticking with. The banner does let it down a wee bit, but I can certainly live it for the 6 months or so it takes for one of us to be arsed fixing it 🙂
At the moment there are 5 of us playing TF2 regularly, which remains an excellent game, and will continue to be my game of choice for the foreseeable future. Most of us on TS these days have already or will be buying BFBC2, and I expect that to be the big game of the next year or two (although it’ll be tough to rival the TF2 competitive game). Sadly it doesn’t run well enough on my PC for me to get involved yet 🙁 but a new mb and processor seems to be all I’ll need.
hmm doesn’t look too bad. The only thing is the banner, which looks like a tiled windows desktop? Is there anyway to change it, or even can you tell what size it is? Maybe Jonny could stretch the one he made for the homepage?
I’ve got it, but can’t play until I get an upgrade, which is sadly a while off yet. We should focus on getting a server for this though and getting our guys together again on it.
Big geeks like us are always sitting around Steam or TS Turks, just jump online and give us a shout 🙂
Cool, I’ll be in TS, though if I don’t respond right away just hang around. Doc is right though, too many games like this back in the day ended up that way.
