I thought it would be something along these lines, like when installing a source based game in steam with another.already installed..way to go ea though for the confusion 😆
You’re ok posting that here, no worries about that, and thanks for the invite. How are yu finding filling it at the momemt, or rather, how easy is it to get the server started? Just curious as we’re slightly worried from our experience last with having to wait for eight players to join before getting started.
Just to follow on from what we’ve been discussing on ts, and update everyone, the default settings are what we need in order to make the server available for quick match joiners. So far I have no issue with any of these settings though, except for the ridiculously annoying minimum of eight players required to start a round. Hopefully with uk releae today, the wait will not be as long again. Over time it should require less and les of xdc prssent to start it as it’ll hopefully find it’s way onto peoples favourites. We should start a petition to ea in the meantime though to give us something to do during startup.
Oh and just to support what others have already said, the last I heard the map pack, inluding kharki, sharqui, wake, and gulf of oman, will be out approx a month after full release. In time for christmas at least.
Just this minute I got the physical warfare unlock code via email, you’ll probably have it soon as well mcqueen if bought through origin.
I’ve had nothing but problems using firefox, so returned to IE. Haven’t bothered with chrome following firefox experience. I’m not claiming to be sane however.

Gonzo says the server list we’re presented with when we search is random, and that it won’t necessarily show there everytime. I’m far from convinced since none of us have found it yet randomly, but I guess we’ll try it again tonight and see.
I’ve had a play around with every setting I can find and still can’t get it to show up on a normal unfiltered or even filtered list, so I’ve given up. I’m awaiting a response from Gonzo on msn, but if I’ve not heard back I’ll raise a ticket.
I ran a quick search for Rackage branded servers as well and found only 1, so it may be something to do with the hosting. May also have something to do with release day being tomorrow.
Hey Kahuna, really enjoyed those games last night as well. Feel free to join us anytime you want, on the server, and TS as well…although don’t expect any tactics from our comms 🙂

Is there a custom settings filter and do we show? We have customised our.setup by reducing players required to start
