Quants is not much to do with programming mate. Its all about number crunching to model future market movements and analysing trends etc. SERIOUS PROPELLOR HEAD/TREKKIE TERRITORY.
For example, one of the quants looks exactly like Beaker from the muppets
Example of the only thing vaguely IT related that is open Wolf, but its actually more for a maths propellor head type. One of my best mates works as a Quant but has a Dr’s degree in applied mathematics.

Wolf, we are not looking for anyone right now, but that may change, espescially for Max’s team. But because you have no (I assume ) experience, your initial best bet may be a work experience type role. I will speak to my boss tomorrow and see if we can wangle anything like that.
Consequently, no job description as yet. But what I can do is look at your CV and make some suggestions, it will also give me an idea of which teams I can approach to see if they have any recruitment plans coming up.
