good laugh tonite, must say smaller server was better, prefered the bomb/defuse over tdm, which imo needs fewer players to get the best out of it, think that setting it on hardcore might be good fun…more intense…

cheersIt’s difficult to recommend it if you’re looking for something like RO.
With the right server settings it’ll probably be a good laugh on mp but there’s an awful lot of grenade launcher spamming and aimless spraying of machine guns.
If you do get it try the cr0x server first – crosshairs turned off (limits the nade spamming) and ff turned on make it a bit more playable.

singleplayer is really good, by the way.A gren limit, no crosshair and that arty shit gone, along with one or two of the tiny maps, would in my opinion make the game 10 times better, i know there is a server side setting ‘hardcore’ which gets rid of hud etc and enables bullets to do more damage.
soia jump in ts and on our server tonite, and we could all discuss the options to make it a better playing experience.
all in all though, once you get the general idea, its a good, fun game 😀 😀

its cod4 ‘s inbuilt ‘realism’ setting (hardcore)…….splat are a gameing clan, top lads, played RO with them a lot. only ever play mp, sp does me tit in, so dont want to buy if the mp is wank.

anyways dl now…try before you buy…..see gears of war for pc is on torrent sites also…wonder if thats worth a look

The mp sounds like BF2 on steroids. I’ll defo order this for SP and see how the MP feels after that.
