cant wait for some new maps, verdun is a quality first map, but i was looking at the review and video of Gibraltar, whereas Verdun is snowy, Gibraltar looks like it’s got sandstorms. Last night I started to really use the terrain to take down enemy waves, it’s at that cool point where I know enough of the hiding places and there are still enough noobs to ‘easy kill’ – some great places are in the ruins by the church for engineer, you can lay mines as the tanks come in. Heavy assault on top of those sentry outposts, great field of vision you can shoot at three flag points from the central one. And my personal fave, in the trees just north of the MEC spawn, if you have a sentry gun set it up it will pick them off the moment their pods land.

seriously, when you are behind the shields on the Titan and the enemy cant get you but you can clearly see each other/face each other off, a ‘pull yo pants down and do shit, then kick it in the general direction of your enemy’ would be mint. Or even a ‘pull a pair of soiled knickers out of your pocket and say “can you give these back to jour mum? she left them in my car when we went doggin”..

In websters dictionary the term TK is an abrevviation for ‘Team Kill’ which is the verb & adjective describing the action of spawning into your own team and opening fire with everything you have, then, once ammo is depleted pulling out your knife and giving your team mates the once over with your cold steel and blank psychotic expression. Punishable.
Most likely what you just experienced was ‘FF’ which means friendly fire. Indirect ammunitions fire from your own team, which will inflict damage upon you most likley because you weren’t looking where you were going, or you stumbled like a fucking idiot into the line of fire, or, you were so preoccupied with you own mission you neglected to look at the ground to check for mines & explosives, which incidentally show up with a very big red skull and cross bones. Thats why you’ve been kicked you twat.
there certainly are a very high number of idiots on the servers, you are deployed into a world where you fire 20 rounds per second, where nobody knows what the fuck is going on, theres tracer fire coming at you from all sides then mortar rounds, you are bound to TK in your first few games. but this punish TK system is doing my fucking nut in, I get punished all the time, I blew up a cloaked friendly sniper and he punishes me, fecking idiot was invisible and it’s my fault. bring on the XDC 2142 server where there will be decent games with decent adminning.

I’ll be on multiplay servers mostly, I try and stick to MP.co.uk server 1,5,7 or 10, all the others seem to kick me in a few minutes.
the reg key thing was apparently a hoax message, I signed in under our DR account and got the demo, I haven’t told the rest of the lads yet it’s open to them as I think theres only one person per key.
however saying that, you XDc chaps seem more likely to join the 2142 fold, if you really want to test the demo, I can lends you my account.
I was taking heavy fire from a PAC Tiger tank on one round, I’d stunned the bloke with a massive EMP round so he was going nowhere, but his guns were still active, I shot him again and again with the mortar cannon on the APC, but tank vs APC no hope, I switched to the APC escape pod and jettisoned into the air, I brough the pod down right behind the tank took out a rocket launcher and blew the feckers ass off. Thought to myself right there, yep, XDC mad max and crew will love this. Infantry vs tank is an equal battle now

Keep it in the familymm, I tend to hit jump a couple of times if I am running and being strafed by a tanks co-axial gun for instance, it’s only fair, the tank has three ways to take you out, and if you are in front of the tank it’s pretty much 83% you’ll die, – on the whole theres the forgivable reflex ‘jump’ when being shot at, but even I am guilty of repeatedly hitting ‘jump’ during the I’m being shot at but trying to drink some coffee moments of play, as said usually you are told to stop being a fuckwit on most servers, but if nobody spots what you just did be a man apologise anyway.
