if i hadnt played almost all of them i would be tempted, and i still am even if just for beta access to siege to give it a go.
i pretty much stopped playing R6 games after vegas as it changed from what it was originally but i am tempted with siege as its more of a CS style faster gameplay, that and i as i said i havent played an R6 game for years

Thanks max, glad we’re on the same page. To clarify though, no iron sights in game, and no ADS except on certain long range options. Also the recoil looks non existent, so it’ll be a game of position point and click. Worked ok for rogue spear and BF42 was a bit like that, but I think we’re well past it now, and it’s too dumbed down for a modern day shooter. That said, aim assist was probably on, and there remain a few points to clarify re the ADS thing.
I suspect that recoil was either disabled or turned down massively to better show the game. watching people spray and pray with the camera all over the shop isnt great marketting. also that whole fight was very carefully choreographed as all DICE gameplay videos are. the lack of ADS really doesnt bother me much as i played a silly amount of cs and that doesnt have ADS except on weapons with scopes. it all comes down to actual gameplay, if its good enough you dont miss things from other games

it wont be, microsoft and to a less extent sony will never allow gamers on their platform to play against players on competitors paltforms or indeed against PC gamers.
personally i am really looking forward to this, i had absolutely zero interest in hardline but this looks like it could be brilliant. there are some things that need to be clarified but seeing as it still has 4 months of development left and things are changing every day some may not be cleared up till much later.

i have played it on and off for the last 6 months. its ok, it didnt grab me as much as brink did but i havent played with people i know so that may be part of the reason.
you can read it whenever as you have read the first 2 books. it has an overarching story that involves Kvothe but hes not actually in it. it just gives some more insight into the rather disturbed but very gifted head of Auri
i read these last year on the reccommendation of a friend and they were brilliant. there is a short story out based in the same world, its about Auri. its called the slow regard of silent things. if Pat can get the next one done soon i will be very happy 🙂
also think they would make a great show
all we can do is wait for when it gets reviewed and people are actually playing it. i am hoping its good, but i never played the original so im not overly bothered by a lot of the things which people are generally complaining about.

the only problem with the game is the max’s and thats because everyone shouts on TS “OMG its Max” and all i think is MadMax is inbound 🙂

i reached that point about 5 years ago, each time i returned after quitting i would get bored within a couple of days. i will always love my time playing it and still think its the best MMO but i have been there, done that.
I am slowly getting the hang of things, but it will take a while before i feel comfortable with it.
as a result i am enjoying it more but still have trouble identifying the different classes and vehicles
