So do you guys have a Corp with alot of XDC members in? since i’m thinking of reactivating near the end of the month

I have 6months left on my contract so i’m prolly going to do the same again next year depending on what free gifts are on offer at the time.

(alot of the PSP’s are the standard value pack though there is a couple on the last page that contain the giga pack which is the one i got, bascially saves you haveing to fork out £50 on a 1gig stick)It takes 28days for you PSP to arrive (from the day you recieve the phone) and mine did promptly too 🙂
I played EVE, came back a couple of times but since i was doing alot on my own and couldn’t really find a good corp i gave it up.
If XDC has a decent corp etc i’m tempted to re-go at it and just play it causaully on the side (along with WoW and all the other millions of games i have on my HD)
Must admit i’m not a big fan of e-bay i know of the scams that go on there, though i did by a Gamecube off there (luckily guy lived in stafford so i picked it up myself)
have also brought a Gamecube game off E-bay and even though the guy didn’t respond to any messages i posted he did send the item out as soon as the money arrived to him.
As for the orginal question about getting a PSP, it depends. Personally as a hand held gaming machine there “ok” most the games out for it are just PS2 Cut down ports which isn’t totally great. The PSP stronge point is the fact its a media device, personally they should market it as a media device that can play games, rather than a games machine that does media stuff.
If you want a hand held gaming machine Nintendo DS is it, its purely gaming and does what it sets out to do really well, yes ok the graphics etc arn’t top notch compared to a PSP but Nintendo DS i think personally wins over the PSP as a gaming machine.
Note: i do have both machines (got my PSP free with a moblie phone contract 😉 ) and i find the PSP i use more for watching videos and music rather than gaming. DS i use for gaming 😉 since thats what its ment to do 🙂
Also for getting your item, you have the choice of going thru Paypal/Ebay/postoffice compensation etc. or you could just find the guys address from the details you got and tell him your coming round with 5 other blokes to “collect the PSP or the money” let it be his choice
nah i’m not go I28 :p hehe been along time since i’ve been to an Ievent, did have good laughs at them back when it was i think I8 etc :p

i’m really looking forward to the Wii and i’ll have one on pre-order soon as i can with Twilight Princess (i’ll get it on the Wii rather than GC)
As for the controller the more i see demo’s and pictures of it the more i’m really starting to like it 🙂

Death: i knew Valve and Vivendi fell out but i’m sure there still in aggreement for Ep 1, i could be wrong though (not sure what the contract is between them) i remeber EA we’re going to take up Valve for retail stuff, just not sure when thtas comes into effect.
Eh ? EA as far as i know don’t have any involvment with Valve at the moment , its still VU Games
its VU Games that do the box distribution and store selling, the Steam platform is owned by Valve themselfs (ie VU Games don’t take a cut from the sales done on it, it goes straight to the Dev, Go Valve!)
well can understand not having a CC there a pain at times :p
But using your Card over the net is no different than using it in a shop/cash machine, tbh you got more chance someone looking over your shoulder at a cash machine/shop than them stealing your details over the net. And even if they do your covered by your card for any fraudulent transactions done one it like if it was stolen in the high street.
As for having to re-download after format thats kinda your choice, but you can back up your steam stuff to DvD/CD using the back-up feature in Steam 🙂
And i don’t find steam that slow i preloaded Ep One at 300-500 kb/s
lol its not out till JUNE :p so you got a month to pre-load it (and you don’t have to even order to Pre-load) and its free.
Just pre-load it when your at work or asleep (depending on where your PC is)
Well under section 98xb4hjjx09op3m.10098 Paragraph 984 Section XYZ I’m already owned by the Blizzard Corporation and their WoW Game. In this i have play WoW at least 20+ hours a week.
Also they have my Credit Card and Social Life at Ransom, also this above aggreement stops all other Online games being played on my PC.
P.S though i do get some days off at times
Well i have found use for it in WoW since i can do werid keycombos for certain buttons (like ctrl-alt-shift-a) and assign it to 1 G key and it does the key combo for me 🙂
i think it would have its uses in BF2 for maybe the info screens etc. (ie it could free up a mouse button for me and use a G key to call up the com’s menu)
Yes the keyboard does take a getting use to since its alot larger length wise (i’m still misplaceing my hand and pressing the wrong keys and i’ve had this thing 3months :p)
i think if your RTS fan too the G keys could come in really handy.
i think the biggest asset it has in the LCD display its great for voice com’s and theres so many apps coming out for it too, i currently run Teamspeak mod,MSN mod, G-Key peeker (lets you see what each of the G keys is doing for a game profile your currently using) plus theres one that runs with FRAPS too 🙂
