Its pre-loading now and your can pre-order (total cost after tax $21.09) when you log onto your Steam Account 🙂
Anyone else picking this up too? also i think the game is in full HDR too 🙂

🙂lol its not out till JUNE :p so you got a month to pre-load it (and you don’t have to even order to Pre-load) and its free.
Just pre-load it when your at work or asleep (depending on where your PC is)
still you need a CC I don’t have one and not getting one soon. Even if I had one I know enough about the net to not give out my CC details. Not gonna arse with “steam slow as shite through some small holes” everytime I format to get it back
well can understand not having a CC there a pain at times :p
But using your Card over the net is no different than using it in a shop/cash machine, tbh you got more chance someone looking over your shoulder at a cash machine/shop than them stealing your details over the net. And even if they do your covered by your card for any fraudulent transactions done one it like if it was stolen in the high street.
As for having to re-download after format thats kinda your choice, but you can back up your steam stuff to DvD/CD using the back-up feature in Steam 🙂
And i don’t find steam that slow i preloaded Ep One at 300-500 kb/s

Basicaly it follows on from where HL2 finished off.
I’d expect to see alot more of these ‘episodes’ in the future, from what I can remember isn’t Valve now owned by EA?
Eh ? EA as far as i know don’t have any involvment with Valve at the moment , its still VU Games
its VU Games that do the box distribution and store selling, the Steam platform is owned by Valve themselfs (ie VU Games don’t take a cut from the sales done on it, it goes straight to the Dev, Go Valve!)

EA took over the distribution some time ago, valve and vivendi had some troubles some time ago and decided to part ways
Not sure Insane, i do know theres new levels and more action from Alyx and Dog 🙂
i’m hoping theres some new weapons etc 🙂
Death: i knew Valve and Vivendi fell out but i’m sure there still in aggreement for Ep 1, i could be wrong though (not sure what the contract is between them) i remeber EA we’re going to take up Valve for retail stuff, just not sure when thtas comes into effect.
