Seen a ton of players moaning about how easy it is to use the shoulder mounted stinger to shoot planes down. Well from personal experience it quite hard, if the pilot actually pays attention to what they’re doing. I’ve seen missiles be out run and out turned until flares deployed again and even seen missiles head to a different target to the one you locked.
Flying was always a skill in BF (hence I can’t pilot a plane for toffee 🙂 ). I can see this ending up like some 90’s Sega arcade game.

I remember a lot of the names I can see, even a few old DoD players I meet at one of the I-series events at Newbury 🙂

Were you Big Kahuna by chance? (I used play TFC/CS on WP and was a public server admin for DoD at BY under Strontium_Dog)
Most people were complaining (in Beta) that the kill time was too quick, not the half a mag like BC2. Has this been adjusted in release then?
I think this is what appeals to me about the BF series. It’s not all just run and gun, I really enjoy the support aspect.
Picking up your squad and zipping over tree tops and buildings at low level to deliver them into a cap point, capping it then picking them all up and moving on to the next.
Reminds me of the opening scenes in Black Hawk Down, when the LB’s and BH’s drop in their squads.
