Because I’m getting more familiar with it away from the office too so that when I’m in the ofice I can do a better job of things 😛 Counter-Strike Source works though -_-
EDIT: Seems it does like Server 2003, it just doesn’t want to run for me -_-

Hence why I was asking about Forgotten Hope or DC or any other mods peeps are playing. 😀hmm theres normally plenty to play on!

For the last week i’ve been playing on MaYoRs DC .7 (Air and Armour) server for old times sake. Bloody good fun for a game i bought years ago 🙂

Well silver gave that server a try, a bit lame – runway straffing and when I finally got airborne, was killed (ie server killed) for trying to kill one of the server guys – not for me. 🙁
been playing as =XDC= wildeggtamer, just found a random server and jumped on, would be great to be playing with some of the old crowd again so will try and download some of the mods at some point but am sticking with 1942 for now.

just vanilla bf1942 as i like it alot, not too fussed with DC although theres some classic maps on it!
Trying to remember but with maps the spawns are done on types of vehciles and so on with the actual vehicle being controlled by the mod? just wondering if you could use a dc map on bf1942 lol

I’m gonna install Vietnam and if it works I’ll instal lthe official BF:V 1942 mod – 1942 stil laint working for me on Server 2003 so I have no other choice. BTW… was the mod any good/did any one bother with it much?
Chaps, most nights at about 8 onwards I play FH on the 7DR server!
I’ve an idea(sarcasm), why don’t we all use XFire then we would be easy to track down!

had a great game earlier today on the RBK el alamein server; it was also great to see some old names on there……tenaciousD and armless being 2 of them, also a guy called Steve-O who i’m sure used to pop up on our server a few years back when we were running BF1942.
There still seems to be a few dipsticks knocking about that seem to take great pleasure in tk’ing for as plane/jeep/tank but i guess you can’t have it good all the time.

heh yeah I have seen them, didnt realise they used to be on our server. have to try and get on at the same time as you. Got XDC TS working now
