like whenever anyone feels like a game, if I’m around, let me know and I’ll play. Played on a few pubs and it was shit, no admining at all, so want to play with some XDC guys for a laugh
Old post but what the hell – i fancy a dabble backl on those days, I’ll have a hunt for my discs -_-
If you dig out your FH stuff, FH is up and running most nights on the Rats server, or vanilla is played on the Hussars server (Coop) both are well admined, although the hussars is normally empty of hussars, but I am on most evenings (either Rats or Hssrs) and I can admin hussars if anyone is being a poof.

I play 1942 regularly now. mainly on the RBK.de servers and Neotes ones.

I play Vanialla for the most part just now.
Is there any custom maps in the rotation?
The FH has some custom maps (the normal FH Mappack) but I think the vanilla is just that, although I have had some lag issues with it of late. Played a little DC last night too (on the Rats server!)
I have DC final and installed it, but it crashes when loading map.
I prefer FH and BF1942 more tbh.
Have to download FH think its a couple of gigs?

You just need BF1942 1.6 patch and then the 1.61 update. not sure if theres a full 1.61 update.
It is very good, much prefer it over BF2 and none of that ingame advertising rubbish in BF2142 lol.
after much trouble with BF2142 this evening including 4 ctd’s, 3 freezes and 1 attempt at playing with about 1 frame every 10 seconds i decided to put by BF1942 disk in and fire up a game for old times sake………..what can i say ? fantastic!! ok, the gfx may not be up to much nowadays but the gameplay was fun, no crashes, no lag, no long waits while i log into my account but most of all a game i could enjoy for the last hour or so i had left in the very short time i’m getting to do any gaming at the mo!
i’m not sure whats causing the ctds and freezes in BF2142, i guess i’ll have to reinstall it or summat as i’ve updated PB, shut down non-essential proggies but i’m still getting the damn problems occuring!

Been playing BF42 for a couple of nights now. What can I say.. I love it!!
As stated the graphics aint up great but who cares. The game play is smooth and its good fun. And Im causing havoc at been a pesky sniper!!!
Does anyone know what FH patch thingy I need at the mo? 😀
What servers you playing on MOrgan?
I played as =XDC= Mugworth on the RBK.de and the Battlebox El alamein ones. seen the husslers server, but no Husslers on it lol.
Dammit – installed itv and got patche dup and the game CTD’s just after the initial splash screen – it must not like Server 2003 🙁
