Yes, but like anything paraphrasing things can make it look out of context. My reply, in full, was to you talking about XDC members not stat whores in general.
I play on your server because it has some of the best teamplay out there. If it was full of stat whores and twats I wouldn’t be playing here or associating with the people.
I reiterate
– I play for more guns.
– Not virtual medals.try telling someone whos served in the Gulf, or during WW2, “yeah I got loadsa purple hearts, got my combat infantry ribbon last night, easy as pie.”
They will most likley stab you in the face with eyebeams.
A few, in a personal opinion.

Besides one mans stat whore is another mans good player…
Some of XDC may think, and forgive me for this, that Max is a bit of a stat whore. But on the other hand he could be just playing the class he enjoys the most and and is best at playing. I don’t think that in my view of stat whoring that there’s a guilty party in XDC and I assume the term is generally thrown about as a bit of jesting banter.
Stat whoring in my view is where you’d play on low pop high map size servers or P/K/P only servers or no rule servers where you’d spawn rap with choppers/tanks, runway straf and just about use anything or any exploit (noob tubing/BH/Diving) in your arsenal to get as many points per minute as possible.

Agreed big ron, I play that class not because I enjoy going round reviving people every two minutes but because I like the particular weapon for the class e.g AK101 rocks! However, I will use the paddles to prevent the ticker rate from falling, every little helps! But im in no way a stat whore, I just enjoy the game (A little to much!) 😉
We all play the game differently, I want my unlocks! not bothered how long takes to get em but I want em my precious! I can wait tho – it’s no biggie
by the way, the jeep races pre-game last night were funny as fuck – I nearly pissed meself when Lensman blew the bridge! Quality!

IMHO the only time someone being a stat ho will have a diverse effect on a round was if they were off somewhere in a corner padding supplies knife kills that sort of thing.
Think about it.
Engineer stat whoring. Would be repairing commander toys and friendly vehicles. This helps the side.
supply stat whore. Throws supply bags around, helps the team.
medic stat whore. Revives and heals, again helps the team.
*personally i would rather play with an engineer/supply/medic whore as there is nothing worse than spamming chat asking for repairs/heal/supply and them running the other way*sniper stat whore. Ok sitting in the middle of the map sniping is not as useful to the team as a different class who gets down and dirty capping flags would be, but still they are killing so they are helping the team. Or they could be explosive whoring. Frustration for the person who gets killed but still they are helping the team.
spec ops stat whore. *same as explosive whoring above*
anti tank and assault. Cant stat whore with these.
Plane heli whores. Kill the opposing team, defend flags so again helping the team.
I honestly fail to see why people think that stat whoring is such a big problem. As i said above unless the “stat whores” are in the middle of nowhere stat padding then all they are doing is helping there side win.

I think we are all in agreement that anyone who thinks that stats and medals are the most important part of the game, are nobbers… But as no one in XDC is like that imho, I dont see what the problem is!
