it went well, had a fair few bevvies, a bite to eat and a good laugh……..Alun the mentalist decided that he couldn’t be arsed to go to the gig so we just stayed in the boozer instead!
All in all, a good night….oh and Line got his arse out…….again! 😯
Bah! Shame I missed it (the drink, not lines arse). Trouble is though that us London and home county types really are too sociable by half. We’re always meeting up for drinks etc, and (although I do hate to say it) the Northern contingent are really letting the side down.
But I guess that because they’re not party animals like us!

Function: interjection
1) An Expression of joy generally used by computer gamers and hackers.

3) A part of the 1337 language.History: The current-day use of the word w00t stems from hackers in the early to mid 80’s. While communicating with each other groups of hackers such as Razor1911 would need lingo which nobody else would be able to understand to express milestones in their hacking. One such milestone was gaining root access, but the term rooted or “gained root access” was easily understood so the term was changed to w00t to help disguise. Because of the difficulty of “rooting” many times the term w00t would be much in a celebratory tone. It later evolved to simply be a celebratory remark rather than a hacking milestone.

A term used to express joy, the two 0’s are for leet or 1337 speak, the nerd language using numbers and symbols instead of letters usually. The term w00t comes from the shortned version of “Wow loot” from early mmorpg’s or massivly multiplayer online-roleplaying games such as Ultima Online, contrary to the idea that it from counter-strike or CS
