Angry Joe sums up my feelings too
November 12, 2013 at 5:30 pm #85853Beer_MonsterParticipantmust be bad if Max is raging against the Dice/EA machine. 🙂
I’ve rolled back from Windows 8.1 to windows 7 and I’m not suffering from a fraction of the crashes I was experiancing on 8.1.
November 12, 2013 at 7:00 pm #85854XDCMADMAXParticipantYh getting frustrated mate – rate to complete a map without crashing, it wasn’t this bad week or so ago
November 12, 2013 at 7:51 pm #85855crazy hippoParticipantthe last server patch messed things up for me. I had no where near the number of crashes I do now. hope the enxt one sorts them out
November 13, 2013 at 6:16 pm #85856crazy hippoParticipantlooks like the last patch has fixed a lot of the crashes. I haven’t had one today
November 13, 2013 at 7:45 pm #85857OccaParticipantKeep on crashing(soundloop and directx) 😆 And now im getting flashy walls on locker…
Oh yea hopefully this one will sort it out:

November 13, 2013 at 9:41 pm #85859XDC wild egg tamerParticipantstill fucking crashing ffs!
spent an age getting into a game with doc and max, play about 15 minutes and the whole thing crashes with a frozen screen and a sound loop.
I’ve had 3 like that today so not impressed. Will try one more time and if no good i’ll fire up a game of 42 😉
November 13, 2013 at 9:56 pm #85860XDC wild egg tamerParticipantcrashed yet again!
fuck it! had enough of it crashing tonight, couldn’t get more than 5 minutes play before it just froze up.
I didn’t have any crashes in the beta so how come when i’m playing the full release of shanghai i’m getting thrown out the game?
Sort it out EA ffs!
November 13, 2013 at 11:38 pm #85861XDCMADMAXParticipantNovember 14, 2013 at 11:00 am #85862Gary GoatParticipantHopefully that will fix it. I’ve sorted out my performance problems but still getting crashes although they are far enough apart that I can live with them. Nothing worse then crashing out of a full server and then having to queue to get back in though.
November 14, 2013 at 12:16 pm #85863Beer_MonsterParticipantLooking at the BF4 forums, it’s not looking promising. They reporting the shanghai tower and sound loop crashing still present, and doesn’t look like they’ve sorted the missing sound on Lancang & Gomand (the train one).
Oh Dear. 🙁

Please tell me this is not so
November 14, 2013 at 6:49 pm #85865Beer_MonsterParticipantwoooo, early days, but i just had a full game on shanghai, no sound loop crashes. Had a sound loop crash 4 times in 5 mins last night.
Fingers crossed 😀
Edit. New problem….my firewall has decided to block BF4, meaning it won’t log in when i try to join a server.
Despite allowing anything to do with Origin and BF4 within the firewalls settings, it’s still not allowing me to log in. when i disable the firewall everythings peachy. :/
November 14, 2013 at 9:51 pm #85866OccaParticipantThey have answered on our call beer. As I didnt have not a single crash(client) this evening. But on the forums there are players complaining they are now having issues we had 😆
Hopefully this wont change. But then theres this suppression stuff going on 8) And Im getting those flashing walls like lightning…
